I bought this for my grandkids for Christmas. It definitely took an adult to put it together but when it was done my grandkids had hours of fun playing with it. You can make several different types of runs but the instructions are not in English, therefore you have to look at pictures to put it together and just hope it's right. I myself tried but found it too complicated, my 26 year old son did a great job but it did take him about an hour figuring it out. I must say, they played with it forever.

Great set! Compatible with the set we already have, which is great. The only problem we had was a horrible squeaking/chirping noise when the elevator was running. The problem is with the gear at the top of the elevator. We added a drop of oil (I actually just used olive oil) and now it runs quietly. Hope this helps others who have the same issue!

I've bought marble run sets in the past but this is by far the best quality. The pieces are fairly large (comparatively speaking) and made of thick plastic. The elevator portion works well and my kids (ages 4 and 7) love playing with this set. It comes with a bunch of pieces, though somehow, it's never enough anyhow :)The packaging is nice, but it's just a regular box, so I would recommend purchasing some sort of bin or container to store the pieces.Ultimately, i'm very happy with this set and will buy add-on pieces/sets from this brand in the future.

We have two sets of MindWare's marble runs and they are a lot of fun to play with! Some pieces have been broken and there are times when trying to get everything level can be a challenge, but only on very intricate and large constructions. The elevator is really fun - although a bit loud. Feels like a quality product that I would buy again.

Easy to put together, and my preschooler loves dropping marbles in it (and I enjoy it too). I’ve been using it without the elevator as it’s more interactive without it. Enjoy the different possibilities for how to build it.

Nice, but issues if your floor or table or whatever you plan on using & building this on, you'll have issues. Firstly it had taken a good amount of time to assemble only because of it being uneven no matter what area I adjusted by adding or removing a piece(note that I'm extremely good @ putting things together no matter what it IS), anywho, after finally finishing putting it together, issues arouse. Marbles would reach the top but then 1st one would jam by not moving on, so I'd adjust @ bottom but then marble wouldn't roll down the one side with stair bridge piece connected to staircase piece, so I then adjust that but then, marble jump be off & I'd adjust that, well you get the idea! With all that being mentioned, we finally gave up out of frustration. It loses 3 stars based on that, if not for above mentioned issues, I'd give it 5 stars.
