Avedis Zildjian Company K Custom Special Dry Cymbal Set

SO MUCH GOODNESS. These are VERY clear while also being so full. The decay is very quick which is great for recording sessions if you want something in and out of the mix without losing body and depth. They are very warm and offer a deep rich tone, with a beautiful wash. Unlike some dry cymbals that sound “dead” these still offer so much character for ANY type of music. I’ve used them for metalcore, worship, jazz, and rock, and in each circumstance they haven’t let me down. I may bring a K sweet ride just to offer a little more decay, BUT these are perfect on their own. One of the best buy’s I’ve ever made.

Crashes were too thin for my taste.

I did A LOT of research on these bad boys before I purchased. I visited many sites with the objective of getting the best possible feeling for them and how they sound. This is no small purchase so I wanted to be right. Well, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I started playing on these Zildjians. I've never owned Custom K's and I need a set of cymbals that were dark and dry. It was critical that the crashes weren't bright and faded quicker that a brighter cymbal would. These do EXACTLY that. I'm a HUGE fan of these and am completely happy with my purchase. I've played them on stages inside and outside and they bring it every time. Sound guys love them too!

Really good quality. I bought a box set from a retail joint in the south and immediately replaced it because it was obviously used. Never buy anything from the south. They are usually broke a-holes for a reason. I bought the set on here and I love it!

The best purchase I’ve made in a very long time. They sound crazy good, every single cymbal. Normally in a box set, there’s one or two cymbals that majority don’t care for. This isn’t the case. If you’re in the market for a complete set, just click buy now on these dry k’s.

I love the tones I get from these beautiful cymbals. My style doesn't need brightness from cymbals, so these really do the trick. No ride cymbal ringing for five minutes after I strike it. It gets in and gets out and I can hear each strike clearly. Concise crashes and the deadliest hats I've ever had. The 14" K Custom Special Dry hats and ride are definitely the centrepieces of this pack, and have exceeded expectations. When you consider buying the hats and ride alone costs the same as this pack, it's a no-brainer. It ain't cheap, but worth it. Go for it!
