It was hard to find a manual one-handed pepper grinder. This one works well. The smallest grind is still a little large, and it frequently topples over on my counter (I tossed the little plastic bottom cover right away) but I use it daily and am happy with it.

Easy to use especially when cooking. Another bonus is that you can change how fine or course you want the pepper or other spice to be. I got it for a 90+ year old who complained about the difficulty in using a standard pepper mill. He was so pleased by the esthetic appearance of this mill and loved the ease of use. Since he prefers a very fine grind, he was especially thrilled when he discovered the range of the pepper grind. Great for people with arthritis!!

I bought this to replace a one-handed Nantucket pepper mill that I had used for two decades. It worked OK, although I could only get a course grind.It lasted six months and then stopped working. I am not buying another one.

Bet you didn't know you needed to grind pepper one handed. You are probably sitting there right now thinking about it for the first time. It's the best. Works in either hand. You can dual wield salt AND fresh ground pepper. Game changer.
