My 8N was having trouble starting and I couldn't get the carb tuned. The tractor had to be reliable in couple of days. I bought this carb as a stop gap thinking it would by me a week's time while I did the rebuild on the original. Guess what? Fired up first push of the starter, quickly adjusted load and idle circuits and have yet to even start on the Marvel. It'll go back on no doubt just for the purity of the tractor but this carb is the cost of a rebuild kit without the time. Highly recommended. Great seller too!

The older one works better.I believe it was Sadie who asked me to send her a picture and year & model. (1940 9N)Then she might send me a different one.I have been extremely unwell and have not been able to get out of the house recently.Want the mechanic to check for other things before returning it as I may still need that one.It's simply Hell getting old, and there ain't no gold when you do get there. Trust me on that.

I bought one, installed it and the fuel just flowed right out the air intake. I assume bad floats. So I exchanged it for another of the exact same item. The floats worked on this one, and the tractor started right up, but I could turn the idle mixture jet all the way in or all the way out with no change to the carburetor. Then I tried to adjust the main jet with the same results. Neither of the adjustment screws did anything.

This carburetor is a typical knock off of a Marvel Schebler TSX 33 for 9N, 2N, and 8N Ford tractors. . . .They are not made right. They are not jetted correctly. Even after installing original factory jets and needles, these carburetors fail to perform correctly. . . . I installed 4 different China made carburetors and not one of them performed right. I then installed an original MS TSX33 and it was like winning the lottery! Save your money and find an original MS TSX33 carburetor.

Great Product - Great Value - Works as Advertised

I installed the new carburetor, turned on the gas, and once the carb filled gas overflows onto the ground. It appears that the float is not working. I've contacted Radracing via email through Amazon on Sunday and hopefully I will receive a fast reply.I received a reply and replacement carb in about a week. I will reinstall as soon as possible. More to come.

Very cheaply made. Holes do not line up properly had to do modifications. Metal is like soft pot metal junk. Better off to spend a few dollars more and get a quality one.

I had a problem with the first carb. leaking. I contacted them and went thru what was going on. They sent me a new carb. right away. No issues. I will say that the out of the box carb. adjustments were off for my tractor. Either way it is running/starting great now.
