Visually and aesthetically pleasing.
Having lost some fish to the neighbours cat, and doing some research, I decided to take action and bought these.I didn’t want to have the classic pond netting which in my opinion makes the pond look like a fish farm and not the vibe I want.m. I wanted something that blends in and nicer to look at and this hits the spot.Points to consider: They float nicely, but I am aware of other reviews that says they become less buoyant over time as the algae grows on them. I might need to tie the edges in a way that doesn’t spoil the view.My fishes like to poke their heads out of the water every once in awhile and as these lie on the surface of the pond I’m not sure how these will affect them. I am leaving the space in the deepest part of the pond clear.I also noticed that the pond sticks feed gets caught within the hexagon web. I’ll have to keep an eye on if this stops to fish from getting to the food or not. It’s day one of fitting so so far so goo!

Seems effective
As described. Worth taking a little time to cut edges to fit the pond

Looks neater
Will be honest i waas very doubtful about these as some reviews were unfavorable.. for the price I thought I'd give them ago, they are a little fiddly and if you put to much pressure while connecting together with the clips the plastic snaps, luckily I didn't need the full amount, I also trimmed them ( very easy to do) to the shape of the pond and secured them down with some lawn pegs i had. I didn't want them floating on top anyhow. Yes I recommend, and the seller. If I see any issues I'll up date.. as long as my fish are happy...I'm happy

More aesthetically pleasing than a net
Despite other reviewers having the odd trouble setting these pond protectors up I am relieved the whole process was relatively simple and hassle free. The connectors for each guard worked perfectly well though could have done with more for sufficient coupling. As a result some guards are only attached via one connector though this has not resulted in any problems so far. If necessary, use small cable ties as an alternative. All the pond guards float very well and from a distant are barely visible thus enhancing the appearance of the pond. I was never entirely happy of how a net detracted the well managed look and arrangement of my pond.Initially , I attached the pond guards on the lawn configuring the basic shape of the pond, then after placing it in the pond finished off the overall shape by cutting the remaining guards down to size whilst still in the pond to bring it all to the very edges to provide adequate protection.I remain confident this will be a good deterrent though time will ultimately tell.

Not too practical
This system is supposed to float and does about an inch below the surface which makes it difficult for the larger fish to reach their food.

Not suitable for our pond.
These looked like a really good idea, but there is much too much movement and sliding even when clipped together carefully. We thought we had them well covering our pond but a cat easily pushed back a space to try to grab our fish. If the clips were better to hold them in place it would be much better, but as they were to us, they were unsuitable. Money wasted. Back to the tried and tested net.

Herons are big and hungry.
Easy to assemble, if flimsy. Sadly, we lost 17 fish when using 2 packs (ie 20 items) but that might have been my fault. Herons are very big, strong and powerful, tenacious chaps. Would I buy again?

It's cheap item and not very good.
The links keep coming off and they will not protector from herons.
