I swear by Daniel Smith paints, and I actually love Potter's pink shade. But I wasn't expecting a defective tube either. DS paints have stringent quality checks and their products are the best. This tube of watercolour does not flow like a DS paint should. It has too much binder in it, refusing to flow, and dries sticky and cracks. This was my first bad experience with both the brand DS and the seller Creative Hands. Henceforth, I'll be more careful before I buy paints online.

I make a small value study usually in Windsor Newton Neutral Tint. BUT sometimes a change up is renewing as Value studies aren’t that much fun before one is really excited to lay down some color.But for me I have learned the hard way that I need that roadmap to keep me from the details grabbing my enthusiasm.So this is my way of sticking to the plan that keeps me moving forward.
