I like how this works. At first I had a few nights where despite showering and applying at night my armpits smelled a lot, more than usual, but somehow after a week or so of use this goes away and it seems to just work most of the time. The smell of the product was a little feminine to me at first, not quite neutral, but I got used to it. I would appreciate something more like my old deodorant (sandalwood?). I like the outcome and the lack of waxy residue, something I haven’t found elsewhere, so I’ll reluctantly keep paying, but the price makes me flinch. It feels like you run out pretty quickly so it’s not just expensive per stick, but probably even more expensive than is obvious. There’s basically no other deodorant I’ve ever seen that costs this much, but then again maybe this is a truly unique product that can bear the cost. I still think that reducing the price a bit or increasing the quantity of product would make so many more people buy it. I held off for more than a year on trying this because of the price.

One of my favorite deodorants, and I've tried MANY. Most people don't know how to use it, though! Do not use it during the day or in the morning. At night, after washing and showering (make sure your armpits are clean and dry), roll it on and let it dry. It will work overnight to help eliminate the bacteria that cause the odor in the first place. It should last up to 72 hours. I usually put it on most nights, but it still works if you forget a day here or there. Also, it works better over time, so definitely give it at least 2-3 weeks to work. If you wear anti-perspirant during the day, this will help reduce overall odor. If you take the plunge and go down the no-aluminum, only deodorant rabbit hole (which I did), I found that it took a couple of months to adjust, and then my body didn't sweat as much. When I plug everything up with antiperspirant, my body works harder (and stinks worse! and everything gets stained!). But when I go only deodorant, then things seem to calm down. I do wear a lot of black shirts, and I wear a lot of cotton, and occasionally I sweat. As humans do.

If you need an aluminum-free deodorant (NOT an anti-perspirant), this is my top choice. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all and works really well (lasts for 24 hours for me). Not fragrent, just effective.

I love this deodorant, been using it for many years now. It truly does keep me odor free for a full three days.

I’ve been using this product for over 20 yrs. I love it BUT I have noticed it’s not as strong as it used to be. Not as strong and long lasting as it used to be. I’m still gonna buy it because I haven’t found anything better. But for the ccprice it needs to be a better quality. Like it used to be years ago. Yes ppl did notice .
