I installed these bulbs in multiple fixtures throughout the house and have been very pleased with their performance and consistency. The 2200K warm light is accurate and noticeably softer than standard incandescent or LED bulbs, producing a true amber tone that looks natural rather than overly yellow. 5 out of 6 work well and look great! One was defective. It measured the same resistance as the others, about 25 Ohms. It glowed a little but no where near as bright as the other. When I first turned it on it sounded a faint tone and the inner glass support turned dark blue. It also produced white vertical streaks inside the glass. I suspect somehow the envelope was compromised and air got inside. The bulb does not appear to be cracked. I don’t see any way that I could just send the defective bulb back to Amazon alone.

These are great but check each one when you receive I had 4 that were broken inside the bulb ( from shipping I assume) but didn't discover until months after purchase.

Says they are 60 watt… seems more like a 25 watt…

The bulbs I bought are only a few weeks old and they are turning black!!! Two different brands of bulbs bought at the same time and this is what this brand is doing.. within just a matter of weeks. These bulbs are not cheap, I feel like I got ripped off. ** As more and more tungsten evaporates, the filament gets thinner and the glass gets darker. So darkening of the glass is a signal that the filament will soon break and the bulb will blow. **If a lightbulb turns black, this is most likely a sign that your bulb needs to be replaced. Why should I have to replace lightbulbs I just got a month ago?
