Blunt Classic RTS Original Design Umbrellas

A good sturdy umbrella, nice and bright colour, not prone to break at the tips like most umbrellas. Expensive though, but hopefully will last much longer than most.

Alla terza apertura dopo essere stato trattato con i guanti di velluto visto anche il costo ha perso una molla da qualche parte...sigh! Dopo la molla alla successiva apertura è venuto via un pezzo di plastica e un'altra molla. Il servizio clienti che in teoria dovrebbe rispondere dalla Francia è INESISTENTE, o non risponde. Avrei voluto dei pezzi di ricambio ma NULLA da buttare dopo 3 piogge. E veramente difficile che io lasci recensioni negative ma in questo caso ci siamo proprio..non vi fate incantare dalle promesse del marketing...lasciate perdere. Dopo varie insistenze il servizio clienti ha risposto dalla Nuova Zelanda interessando la sede francese e mi ha inviato (a pagamento) i pezzi persi/rotti che ho sostituito. L'ombrello è di nuovo funzionante. Finita tutto sommato bene.

I've had all kinds of experiences with umbrellas, and this one wins. I'd recently purchased (and promptly returned) a WindPro umbrella that turned into a portable birdbath after five steps in mild winds. When I received this umbrella I knew from the moment I picked it up that it was solid and strong. It took a little more effort to open than other umbrellas do, but the force required to lock it out keeps it from inverting in strong winds. I can't say I've had it in hurricane winds yet, but the storms it's weathered thus far leave me confident that it'll stand up to a gale. The blunt tips are also quite nice, since I tend to walk with the family and don't want to put any eyes out. This is a great umbrella, bot functionally and stylistically!

... dann ließ er sich beim Öffnen nicht mehr arretiert. Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit der Reparatur. Da der Schirm zuvor sehr zuverlässig war, habe ich einen erneuten Versuch gestartet. Der Preis liegt zwar 35 % höher, aber es bleibt abzuwarten...

Solid umbrella - bulletproof build. I get the impression I could use this as a toboggan in the winter.

I originally thought I had a lemon as this umbrella wouldn't stay open. I was worried that I would have to deal with Blunt's customer service which hasn't received great reviews. So one day, I just got kind of annoyed with it, and rapidly OpenCloseOpenCloseOpenCloseOpenClosed it, and then it just stayed open and behaved properly after that. So at best, I got a great umbrella. At worst, I got an umbrella who learned not to mess with me, but may be planning to soak me one day.
