Can the leveling feet be removed to gain a inch ?

Yes mine is outdoors under a covered lanai area and works great.

I find noise level 2/B below satisfactory. My main complaint & CONSTANTLY thorn in my side. The bilge pump will hang-up thus shutting down unit. One must free it then reset unit. Highly inexcusable of manufacture to make this otherwise quality unit so sloppy. ZERO issues except bilge pump.
