Will Shortz Presents Hot Sudoku: 200 Very Hard Puzzles Paperback – August 31, 2010

Will shortz sudoku books are my favorite. I like the pages and the layout of the books. I prefer very hard puzzles and this book has 75 demanding puzzles and 125 beware! Very challenging puzzles.

As I have stated in another review concerning a Suduko book by Will Shortz, his Suduko books are the best I've found in the 3 1/2 year I've solved Suduko. And only the Mensa Suduko book for levet 4 I have found nearly equal too his books.I now own 6 of this Suduko books. But before bying the first of his books I had bought som other Suduko books but they were to easy for me. Still I would like if Will Shortzs Sudokus were a bit more difficult.I have found some more difficult Sudukos in Google but I prefere to sit with a book in my hands instead of having to print out problems from the PC to have them later by me when I am not by a PC. So therefore I buy the books with Suduko although I would like them to be more difficult. And I beleave that I'll allso be buying the next new Suduko by Will Shortz when such one comes in print.

"Will Shortz Presents Hot Sudoku" is a great puzzle collection; I really enjoy it.With previous Will Shortz Sudoku collections I'd always solved the puzzles in reverse order, jumping in the harder puzzles in the back of the book. Then I'd go on to the next book. I'd only eventually go back to the merely "Difficult" puzzles, challenging myself to solve them without pencil marks.

Love Will Shortz Sudoku.The size of the book and the puzzles is good to work with. I do prefer a paper that erases easier but that also is likely more expensive.

Very difficult and FUN!

Will Shortz has a set of more than usual Sudoku puzzle books. I have 5 or 6 of them and it's nearly impossible to tell if there's a intended actual rank or scaled difficulty. They definitely are difficult and intended for advanced users. Probably a good tip - if you can't do the Sunday Newspaper most difficult Sudoku, at least occasionally, these books are probably too difficult for you.

I have been looking for a truly difficult sudoku book for awhile. The ones in the stores just won't do anymore, but Will Shortz books have never steered me wrong in the past. I think that the size of this book is perfect for my notes on the sides of the puzzle. It gives me plenty of room within the squares for my notes as well. I am going to have a wonderful challenge with this book I am sure! Thanks again :-)

Got this as a gift for my father. I wanted hard as he does Soduko daily. He finds they are hard but enjoys them.

Arrived in good condition, great price, really hard Sudokus but love them, annoying when I cannot do them but good for the brain.

I was looking for a 'challenging' set of puzzles for a birthday gift for a sudoku fan friend. I'm hoping I've found it in this booklet :)

Have purchased nearly ever Sudoku book Shortz has published and will continue to do so. Love the combination of hard and really hard! I love the large format, especially.
