Q: How loud is the blender?

I didn’t purchase this on Amazon but have used it for a number of years. It is definitely too loud to use without ear protection or leaving the room.

Q: what's the difference between this and the ninja professional blender?

The blender has little more power and is actually a blender with a Nutri Ninja cup and the large blender pitcher. If your looking for real smooth smoothies the Ninja Auto IQ is awesome. Warning is it noisy but it does a job on ice, frozen fruits and vegetables.

Q: Can it blend frozen fruit with minimal liquid?

Yes but you'll need a spoon to eat it, sorta an Italian ice. Add a tad bit of water & you can drink it.

Q: Can I make carrot juice with the nutri ninja iQ?

You can't make "juice" unless you have a jucier... but you can definitely make a carrot smoothie! :) Or you could try to blend carrots and then strain them through a cheesecloth for a "juice." But I'd say the ninja should be strong enough to blend carrots into a smoothie... perhaps with a little added liquid for prime results.
