Nice design but rinse first
Filter is easy to use in our 5 gallon betta tank. You can replace one cartridge at a time to keep your nitrogen cycle even. I need to replace one cartridge about every 3-4 weeks. Be sure to rinse the filter first—otherwise you’ll get activated carbon black runoff into the water.

Awesome filters
These have helped me so much. I have an African clawed frog. She is picky about filtration. And makes a ton of waste. This filter is quiet and allows for a lower water level. I like that it’s skinny too. I really love these refills they are easy to use as well. Just slam them in and you’re good to go!

Good value in a brand-name aquarium filter cartridge
My filter uses two cartridges at a time; I can change them both six times and at this price it's not very expensive to do so. To me, this 12-count package seems like a very good value.

Hard to find
