Fat Brain Toys 50112 Colourful Skill Game, for ages 6 years

Our kids got this for Christmas and really enjoyed it! Good price, and easy to play right out of the box. It’s nice to have a game that can be played indoors but that is also really active AND easy to learn quickly.

I have been buying up games and toys to get us through the winter- these days it is all ice and no snow so we are stuck inside a lot. This game was fun for the entire family (youngest is 10). I like that it gets us up and moving but doesn’t need a ton of space. Giggles all around and just a really fun family time.

Everyone loves this game! So fun, easy to play, and encourages movement vs. just sitting around. Almost like a combination flag-football and tag. The only thing that would make it better is if there were even more colors (or like an additional set(s) in different colors so even more players could participate). It’s great for playing at home, but would love to be able to allow an entire class to play, too. Bought it for my grandkids who loved it so much, I bought another set for my job working in a school and ANOTHER set for the grandkids to keep at their house.

This is so fun. We brought it to a local playground for my kids to play and other kids (and adults) joined in.

Our family play a lot of games, and I mean truly a lot (average 2-3 every day, different ones each day), and more when we are gathered with extended family. I thought this looked fun to try and am so glad I purchased! There were enough bands and ribbons for our family of six to play, and it was easily played by all ages present (youngest was age 7, oldest was 47). It was a wild mix of giggles and desperate, frenzied lunges, and we had to try to stop laughing to see straight enough to try to grab the other ribbons. A few rounds ended with me and my husband facing off against each other, which was especially funny! I highly recommend this game, but would caution to be careful if playing with smaller/shorter kids. Our youngest daughter got accidentally jabbed in the front of the neck a couple of times by older siblings reaching too high to grab the ribbons off her arms. Just warn older kids to pay attention to where they’re thrusting their hands forward, in comparison to the height of the person they’re trying to steal from. After I cautioned my older ones to reach with their hands pointed downward only toward her arms, it went smoothly, but the risk for serious injury to the Adam’s apple area of a throat is real otherwise, since the jabs are strong and swift...everyone loved it and I have already recommended it to family and friends for Christmas gifts!

I got this for my son as a way to amp up tag in the neighborhood (and keep them from tackling each other). It’s so great! It’s a lot of fun for the kids, and any adults who join. And we’ve also started using it for ball games, in a flag-football-but-on-the-wrists sense.The parts are really well thought out and well constructed, and I’ve heard other kids asking their parent if they can get their own! Great set all around!

This game is fun for our entire family all ages. It is active and will have your sides splitting from laughing so much. Mix capture the flag with tag! It is non stop running and good times. Definitely wears my littles and bigs out!

I purchased this for my brother's family because they have kids ranging in age from 4-11, plus my 46yo brother who is a big kid. My bad for not reading through all of the instructions before we started playing because the 4yo was the first one out a few times in a row which caused a lot of crying. I felt bad because it had come with some great reviews. Once my brother read through ALL of the instructions and made sure the older kids weren't taking advantage of the little kids, it was a lot more fun. I'll need to follow up with him and see if he thinks it's a keeper, or if just the older kids should play.

The children at the daycare loved this game immensely. They played it for a long time.
