Les Dawson at ITV - The Specials [DVD]

So was one of les's sayings, and that sums up this early video of his. As a great fan I was disappointed and wished I had gone for some of his other videos, where he really shows his talent. Sorry Les but you made a right sissy of yourself when you allowed this to be published.

A bit disappointing.Tame humour. I thought Les was funnier in other programmes. Still watchable though.

Les Dawson was the funniest man on TV in the 70s and 80s.I remember watching these shows on what was then ATV.I am a huge fan of Olivia Newton-John and have been searching for years to find some of these performances with Les and now I have them.Bravo to ITV for keeping them unlike the BBC who destoyed a lot of shows from the 70s.Well done Les and well done to the great ON-J

I found this particular DVD very disappoointing indeed. It does not cover Les Dawson's best work at all and is very poor. I would not recommend this item at all.

One of the greats of british comedy. This dvd shows Les Dawson at his best. Sadly no longer with us.

Too many guests, not enough Les. Good value for money, worth buying for the sketch about the Turnip People.
