We got this for a mechanically inclined friend for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. He works on his car quite a lot, and it's nice to not have to reach for multiple different tools when one will do it for you. Do I recommend? Absolutely. I'm going to be picking up more for other friends and for my husband.

can initially be difficult to attach smaller screw-type hardware, but once tackling that issue it truly worked very well (have so far only used it to replace those tiny eye screws on a picture frame)

The pins inside stick a lot. It's not worth the money I bought it for $20 but I have seen some 2 for $10 or$12 that would be more worth it to me.

I have had a few of the original style sockets. Usually friends would steal them and I need to buy a new one. Just so happens, happened again. I purchased this new style. Figured it would be much better and a better grab. Wrong. I tried a couple bolts. Not one of the bolts turned. The pins in the socket did not grab. The bolts push to many of the pins in and to the side. Not letting it grab. Look at the design in the picture compared to the original style. You will see what I am talking about. I just tried a 16mm bolt. Now that worked the first time. Save your money and buy a cheaper original style

I disliked the way this toy tool just fell apart like dominos.
