I consider myself an amateur photographer. So I actually stumbled across the idea of buying a small external monitor for my Nikon. I, unfortunately, need one due to my declining eyesight. It makes it hard to focus using either a very tiny viewfinder or the LCD monitor on the back.I chose this monitor due to the value that it offers. It comes with all of the accessories that I'll ever need. Some more expensive monitors require you to buy the battery separately. It has a decent picture, which can be flipped around. It has the focus-assist feature, which comes in handy. I can easily attach this monitor to my rig. I can plug it into my camera via HDMI.My only qualm is that it didn't come with an AC adapter since it has an AC port.This has been a much easier option than tethering to my computer, which has been a needless pain. I own one of the few Nikon cameras that make tethering difficult if not impossible some days. The Neweer F100 7 has pretty much met my expectations and then some. No regrets here!

A quality monitor for the price point and has definitely helped us when it comes to getting focus and review footage. It's not the most amazing monitor out there, but it's more than enough to get the job done on the day.

I purchased this to attach to the top of my cannon t6 camera while I'm doing work. The bigger screen makes it easier to see what I am photographing. I definitely recommend this to anyone.

Got this for filming my kids sports. So far 3 days of use outside on the pool decks its working great. Very clear image, with sunshade in place I can see the image much better than I can on my camera screen.Swivel mount is a little hinky to operate but it does hold well when tightened.Glad i got the bundle unit from another recommendation as the base unit didn't come with a battery.

They could have done much better with designing this when it comes to the battery life. The battery doesn't last very long, but MUCH worse is the fact that when you power it off, a red light remains on telling you that it is off. This red light slowly drains the battery if you put the monitor up. So that means you HAVE to eject the battery as well, which is one more thing to keep track of and possibly lose. It is just a stupid design and never should have left quality control. If I could do it again I would spend a bit more money and get something that was actually thoughtfully constructed.

I got this to use in studio to shoot talking head videos. It shows me where I am in the frame and if I'm in focus and for the price, that's good enough for my needs right now. If you require more functionality/bells and whistles, look elsewhere but this is a solid alternative for solo shooters in the studio. One thing to be aware of--the unit ships with one battery and charger but no AC adapter and I was able to find one on Amazon for under ten bucks.

I discovered a few things about this that you should know:1. No power cord, instead mine came with a battery and charger. I had to buy a power cord separately.2. When I changed the video quality on my camcorder to 4k, the monitor screen went blue. I played around with the settings but ultimately a power on power off got the monitor to work in 4k mode.I wish it was touch screen enabled but for the money, it seems good so far.

The first one I received ended up black screening after about 5 minutes. I contacted Neewer customer support and received an instant response. I was sent a new screen immediately and it works like a dream. I can not praise Neewer and their customer serves enough.
