Did the job for recent trip, no issues yet
Recently took this backpack on a trip to Alaska, used it about 3x, at each port call. Overall it worked well.Cons:None yet. I saw some posts of it ripping soon after use, but it has not happened to me (yet). It is a bit uncomfortable on the shoulders and back after extended wear and depending on how much stuff you're carrying.Pros:The size when compact was decent, about the size of a small purse. I liked that it was easy to get back into that same size as sometimes once you take it out, it's quite a task to try to figure out how to get it back again. It basically folds into itself and tucks into the small, frontmost pocket inside out.I forget if this is advertised as waterproof or water-resistant. Either way, it worked fine so far. One day was pretty rainy and even though I had an umbrella, the backpack still got wet but everything inside remained dry.I definitely am someone who likes having a lot of pockets. With this backpack, I thought it was sufficient. Could always use more, but I didn't feel that it was really lacking in that aspect. Not sure how often I'll use this (travel only vs. daily or official hiking backpack). If it ends up falling apart before I've felt it's gotten enough use, then I'll be sure to update my review. It seems to be a thinner material so we'll see...

Great for field trips
I have purchased 3 in school color for teachers to take basic nursing supplies on field trips (tissues, bandaids, feminine products, etc). Looks like average backpack students would use. It’s thin and light weight, but durable enough to stand up to the back and forth shuffle of frequent (even daily) field trips. Plenty of room for teachers to put their own stuff in as well (folder, notebook, water bottle, even light jacket.). Multiple roomy pockets/organizers and mesh has stayed strong with no tears. Can fold up to small pocket for storage when empty. Straps are not thick foam and supportive, but not expected for this type of backpack. Would recommend.

Gray 30L seems bigger than 35 L version
This 30L light gray backpack has 4 zippered compartments. The largest pocket has a half divider for a laptop. It does not have any cushioning for the laptop. It has all the features of the 35L version. Visually it looks bigger than the 35L blue one. The 2 large sections have 2 way zippers. I wish they had made the bottom double layer and not have all the extra zipper pulls. The zippers are nice with the added tags/pulls. The water bottle holder on both side is narrower and taller than 35L version. Also I like the placement of the extra strap and helps with keeping the larger water bottle in place. The chest buckle has a nice built in whistle.Only negative is the bottom is single layer.I have yet to drag it around and see if it is water resistant. I’ll update after my 2 week trip and see if the seams hold up or rip.

This backpack held a lot!
I used this on a recent trip to Greece and it worked perfectly. I was concerned about it holding up given how much weight was in it (hat, sweatshirt, umbrella, selfie stick, battery pack, 2 water bottles, binoculars, snacks, small first aid kit, plus any souvenirs we purchased each day) but it held up like a champ! Next time I use it I'll need to secure the zippers because at one point I noticed one of the compartments was unzipped (not sure if it did that on its own or if someone unzipped it - which is why I didn't keep anything valuable in it to begin with). I do wish it folded up smaller like others I've seen, just from a space saving perspective when packing, but this isn't a deal breaker for me. Overall I'm thrilled with this backpack and look forward to using it on future trips.

Good bag for the money
I was skeptical about the amount of stuff it would hold since it was a travel pack but am pleasantly surprised at the room. I use it for work and can pack what I need and have plenty of space left. The straps adjust easily and so far have not slipped out of place. I like the light weight feel which is nice when it's packed with stuff. I'm not sure about putting super heavy objects in it but overall for general use it's decent.

Worked as I'd hoped
5 stars because it did what I needed it to do -- take up little space in my suitcase, and not add much extra weight, but work as a piece of checked luggage at the end of my travels. Used it to pack laundry and other non-breakable things. I wouldn't have gotten my suitcase closed otherwise.I worried that it might be too small to check, but the counter agent said it was fine, just asked me to try to tie the ends of the straps so they wouldn't get caught on anything. It came off the baggage carousel looking fine, and once it was empty, I was happy to find that I was able to re-fold it to a reasonable facsimile of how it was when I got it. No idea how it would stand up to heavy use, but for my purposes, it was perfect.

Great quality & hold a lot
Hold A LOT!! I took it as my pocket book / carry all on my cruise & it did its job. It held a big beach towel, 2 floats, a pump, wallet, map, yarn, crochet needle, scissors, makeup, map, hand sanitizer, lotion, extra change of clothes & a pair of flip flops in the inside with 24oz my water bottle on the outside pocket. There was room for more & when empty, it folded to a small size purse. The material was light weight & sturdy. I definitely put it to the test. I bought it just for my trip & it did not disappoint.
