How is this different to the normal minecraft game where you build houses etc?

Minecraft story mode is half movie and half game, you have multiple choices to pick and choose what way you want story to go. Minecraft game is purely based on building blockes etc.

Does it use a lot of americans attitude? jerk, shut up etc ?? as the books do
