When my boyfriend asked for a cat plush to cuddle the nights he sleeps alone, I couldn't find one that was a size that was that was good.And then I found this patternGiven a simple description of his childhood cat, that is what I was able to make him.Super easy to follow, but my dumb but misunderstood one of the later steps, it says to put cat head inside front facing front and it means cat is looking inside of the body, not the cat head is inside out sewed to the neck.And then closing it was... well, as you can see, i used fleece and stuffed it really firm.But if you want to gift something that is big enough to cuddle and or use as a pillow for children and adults? this has 4 amazing options.I have only made one of them, and he is SO happy with it. and the patterns are reusable to boot, like all simplicity patterns.

I have so far made two of the cats, the pink one and the white one. I made the "pink" one in grey fleecy material, with my granddaughter (for whom it was destined) making the stripes. It has turned out so well, that I think it looks better than the one pictured. I have made the white one with the recommended white fabric and my only concern is that it will probably show the dirt easily. Next time I would make it in a darker colour.
