Window on the World: An Operation World Prayer Resource (Operation World Resources)

I absolutely love this book. My children and I use it daily for homeschooling as part of our devotional time. We are able to learn about different countries and people groups around the world in need of prayer while forming a better world view and a heart for the unreached people of our world. I only wish there were some sort of a coloring book that could accompany this book for younger children who have an easier time listening while coloring and doodling to reinforce learning. We keep a globe nearby incorporate geography while discussing the people groups, but there is a map available at the front of the book highlighting the different locations. I highly recommend this book!

Love this book. We have made it part of our family devotional to read and pray for the different people around the world. Just enough info to help us learn but not so much to overwhelm or lose interest. A good buy!

We love this book. Full of information and colorful pictures. It highlights a people group or country and gives some information about how they live, worship, eat, etc. It also talks about past or current missionary efforts and how Christians in those areas are affected but cultural/political strife. Great way to introduce kids to the gospel needs throughout the world and also how some children live.

Beautiful book with lots of great info about different countries and their peoples. Very useful tool!

A great description of this is "National Geographic meets Operation World." The pictures, maps, and descriptions of the major world religions are written in clear language on a level that children can easily understand. The stories from the perspective of families from the regions described help children to envision the way that children live around the globe. The clearly laid out prayer requests make it easy for family devotionals. This is an excellent tool to teach your child about world missions, and it also helps anyone of any age get aa visualization of what is happening around the world.

We have loved this book and becoming more aware of the problems faced and beliefs of other people throughout the world. I would have preferred if it was organized by location/continent, not alphabetically.

This is a great homeschool resource. We had the older version but ordered this for more updated information. The old one has some people groups that the new one doesn't and vice versa so we often use both. We love how the book tells us how we can pray for the different groups and teaches us about their history and circumstances!

I loved the format for learning about cultures all over the world. I especially liked the bullet list of prayer needs

Amazing. One country per open spread. Diverse range of countries and locales that may not be widely known. Excited to read this with the kids.

The content is great - we LOVE the revised version a lot..... but the book pages are coming apart! It arrived torn. I was disappointed in the quality.
