OMG these work.
I wish someone would have told me about these before I spent years removing bugs and spiders and their 'ick' from my front door area. No bugs. It's been 2 months. 95% reduced bugs, lizards, spiders. Wow. And the 'shade' on these are white. But the LED is yellow. VERY YELLOW. I wish they made some covers for other outdoor lights. I would prefer not to use YELLOW LIGHTS, but it's far better than the mess the other white LEDs made with bugs. BUGS EVERYWHERE and difficult to get off the walls and out of the fixture. Good product. Note these are BRIGHT. I put only 4 in a fixture for 6. Still LOTS of light.

Effective
I normally have 1 million little tiny bugs flying around my lights and fan outside. It sits above me while I’m sitting outside. I got these today and I am super impressed with the lack of bugs above me.

The bulbs are very bright.
I have one bulb in each of my outdoor garage lights. (Mine can hold 3 bulbs) The one light puts out a lot and is quite bright. There still are a few bugs that like to hang out near by at night (I live in buggy Florida...), but nothing like having regular white LED or incandescent bulbs. I also have 2 bulbs in my porch ceiling light. The only issue I see is that the though the bulbs have a chandelier base, the bulbs are bigger than a typical flame-shaped bulb. Therefore, there may be a tight fit in ceiling lights.

Work very well
Our fixture requires E12-based lamps. Finding good bug lights with this base was fairly difficult. We tried a few others that claimed to be "bug lights" but they attracted plenty of bugs. The Smartliving version attracts very few bugs compared to the others. While these aren't as decorative as some other options, we gladly accepted that in exchange for very few bugs hanging out around our door.

great for kids bedroom (reading before bed)
I got this for my son's bedroom as a reading light for his bed (upper bunk) and a night light as well (lower bunk), because I wanted amber light, to minimize blue light exposure at night time. It's just bright enough for us to read by, but also dim enough that it's a good night light too. Love it!

Pretty harsh yellow colored light
Yellow incandescent bug lights seem to attract less bugs than white light though my opinion is anecdotal. Tried these LED yellow bulbs to replace incandescent yellow bulbs but the shade of yellow was really harsh. I would not recommend these bulbs.

Appear to be very efficient!
I decided to try these after the incandescent yellow bug lights I used to buy are no longer available. I really like them. They are nice and bright AND they don't get hot. The true test is how long they last. It's too soon to tell if the reliability will last.

Was so hopeful! :(
I was so excited to get these. So many good reviews! Flies and June bugs swarrrm my house in North dallas. They didn't even seem to care... for some reason the June bugs that showed up tonight where 90% dead within an hour or two of me turning on tbe light... but as you can see in the photo, the flies all still came. *sigh* gonna try one more night before I return them 🥺
