Worked well for my robot project!
Worked perfect for my little sensor project I was messing with (building a robot and I wanted to sense when things were close); I have a bunch of smaller distance sensors, but wanted something within the 3-4 foot range to notice when I am close. This worked pretty well with a little testing. I think as another reviewer mentioned, the 1200 mark (which was ideal for me) worked the best in my case. I was able to reliably trip it and get the results I was looking for from this part of the project. Definitely worth it for other people in my shoes! And worth the price!

Good Sensor for Use On Small Indoor Robots - Useful Range 20mm to 1200mm
This TOF10120 ToF sensor is a very nice distance sensor. With a range specification of 100-1800mm both I2C and UART interfaces and good accuracy, this sensor is an excellent choice for use in obstacle detection on a small indoor robot, especially if you limit the detection distance to less than 1200mm. In test I found the useful range to be about 20mm to 1200mm. The sensor will detect up to 1800mm, but the readings become more unstable as you approach the maximum value with frequent wild swings that complicate extracting information. It is realistically usable at measurement rates of 25 to 50 Hz, with 30 Hz being the sweet spot. The sensor has 2 mounting holes and comes with a pair of small screws. It also comes with a short (~150 mm) wiring harness. Its small size and light weight allow flexibility in placement. The sensor is not water resistant. This is a useful ToF sensor that is well worth considering for use on small indoor robots.
