ValuTek Multipurpose 5/8" Coil Hose 75'

I bought this hose in 2017 and it's still going strong. I liked it so much, I bought another for the other side of the house. That one broke within a few weeks. The hose pulled out from the gold fitting, and it can't be repaired. I contacted the seller and although it took quite a while, they did send a replacement. It was the end of the summer by the time I received it, so I put it away and used it at the start of this summer. Within a month, the same thing happened. The original one I bought is still fine, and the other two hoses were treated with the same care. There must have been a design change or something that makes the hose susceptible to failure at the connection point. Very disappointing as it is otherwise a really great hose.

This hose is a very heavy, excellent quality however it is so strong, especially when filled with water, that I could not keep it uncoiled and untangled enough to use it. The seller was gracious enough to allow me to return it. It was of no use to me. Don't know if the smaller diameter one would work any better or not but I will not try another because of my disappointment with this one. I could do nothing with it at all.

Have a number of these. Great hose and coils quickly out of the way. Bigger size means more water. Construction appears good.

Helps to not use a regular hose.

This a very high quality hose, and it doesn’t kink easily like the cheaper versions
