Works
Got these to try on my tank. Have tried absorbs to try get my tank to settle and Nitrate and phosphate down...( nopox, ATM colony, seachem, bio balls, cheato, more water changes..lots of others.. nothing was working. ) it's an old tank. We moved what was left of our fish and some rock from our 9x3x3 tank that's been running nearly 20yrs. Into a smaller Aqua One Reef tank..not good tank or sump design but what I had available. But the tank has just refused to settle properly. With constant high phosphate and Nitrate. We added a little bit of new live rock to try help re seed.. helped a little. We ran bibles for months but no joy. Tried adding bacteria from Seachem, ATM and Red Sea.. but no joy. We can strip phosphate easily using the Aquaforest Phosphate remover. This works great. But then you strip the Phosphate but then left with high Nitrate. So i found these. I use all 3 together. ( 4 small spoons of ProBioF, 4 drops of Pro Bio S and 4 drops of NP Reef Pro. Daily) I replaced our Tunze skimmer.. And in the past week the skimmer is producing much more muck. Now cleaning 2 times a day. Nitrate has started to drop. Hard to tell the Phosphate as the salient kit hard to read. But looks like it's working Would recommend the Aquaforest products to anyone

Works great!
Takes time to kick in, but great once it gets going! Needs to be used along with NP Pro to work.

Much Better Than Expected
So I recently started the Aquaforest Probiotic program. I use their probiotic salt, the Pro Bio-S bacteria and the -NP Pro to grow the bacteria. I have a 93 gallon cube saltwater tank that's Fish Only with Live Rock. But the Probiotic salt is good for any type of coral as well. I found out from Aquaforest that the Probiotic bacteria in the salt is different than what is in Pro Bio-S. If you use Pro Bio-S then you have to use -NP Pro as well because that is what grows the bacteria to consume organic waste in the tank. It's similar to carbon dosing but it's not a carbon. So let me explain why I think this product and - NP Pro are good in my opinion. By the way, any Aquaforest product that has the word "Pro" in it means it's for the Probiotic system, and not a "professional" indicator. I have had this brown algae growing all over my rocks, glass, pumps,... you name it and it grew there. These weren't diatoms either. But no matter how many water changes I did, it would not recede. In fact, it kept growing worse on the rocks and I was cleaning the glass (all 4 walls) every week to get it off. I also have plenty of flow in my tank. I began half-heartedly using Brightwell Aquatics Micro Bacter 7 along with their carbon source, Reef Biofuel. Didn't notice a difference. It could've been because I wasn't dosing every day or it just didn't work. Since I started using the Probiotic salt and the two Aquaforest supplements mentioned above, I started to see a big difference. It says to add a few drops of each once a day. I am adding the drops in the morning AND the night. I also combined this with the Brightwell Aquatics stuff and am dosing those once per day. I can definitely say that my rocks have cleared 100% in a week! A WEEK!!! The algae on the glass has significantly been reduced to small patches along the sand bed. The pumps only look like they cleared up about 30%. My water is crystal clear, but always has been, I always perform a 20 gallon weekly water change and don't overfeed. I also noticed a LOT less detritus on the sand when I changed the water last night. So my multi-pronged attack seems to be working flawlessly. I can't have any snails, corals, or other invertebrates to help clean the tank because this is a predator tank for the most part. But the Aquaforest combined with the Brightwell is consuming organics and being skimmed out nicely. One thing to note is you MUST have a decent protein skimmer to remove the mass that the bacteria forms into once it starts consuming organic waste in the tank. If you don't, you're wasting your money and defeating the purpose of using this. I definitely recommend the Aquaforest Probiotic salt and the Pro Bio-S & -NP Pro to complement it. It's been a huge success in Europe for years, but just recently made it to the States. You can't go wrong with this stuff and it's for all types of marine animals. A+

Great stuff for my reef tank
Great stuff for my reef tank, been using it for 2 weeks now and its doing its job, specially since my skimmer pump died and had to order a new one, my tank is heavily stocked with expensive corals of all kinds, WWC Bounce for example a well known softie coral and RR Pink Floyd, just to name a few, very expensive corals and i dont run GFO i use a refugium and Phosphate Rx and my cone skimmer. I was glad i ordered this product and my tank was able to hold on til i got the skimmer back on track, now my skimmer is pulling some sick stuff and im glad i incorporated this product in my Reef tank regime.
