Perfect for my husband!

My husband has been doing a lot more handyman jobs around the house and outside. He's on that ladder a lot and have to haul up all his gadgets on his work-belt. I got this ladder tray to make it easier for him. He likes it. It was easy to attach to the ladder, and it fits. He is able to lay out his tools on the tray. Quality seems good, and it's functional. He likes the design of the tray having holes to stick screwdrivers in, it won't roll off and it's easy to grab. It says it can handle 55-lbs, but he won't put heavy weight on it and risk breaking the tray. Price is a bit high.

This ladder tray is absolutely fantastic. The design is awesome and has compartments and holders that keep everything organized and within reach. No more climbing up and down the ladder to grab tools, brushes, or hardware, everything sits securely right where you need it. The tray feels sturdy and it attaches easily without wobbling or shifting. I love how much space it offers without feeling bulky. Whether I’m painting, doing repairs, or tackling a DIY project, this tray makes the whole process smoother and more efficient. It’s one of those accessories you don’t realize you need until you use it and then you never want to work without it. A truly excellent addition to any toolbox.

This tray claims to be universal, but it really isn't. I have two multi-position ladders and this tray doesn't work well with either. The tray seems well made, but doesn't provide a level surface on either of my ladders. It might be workable with things like screwdrivers that can be set into the holes, but I wouldn't want to use it for a paint can because the angle seems a bit much. It's not versatile enough to call this tray universal. There should be a way to adjust the support leg to accommodate different rung distances. I think if it fit your ladder, it would be a great tray that's easy to use. It seems provide reasonable stability once seated on the ladder and provides extra work space. My knees would have appreciated the ability to keep things close and make less runs up and down the ladder.

It says it works for extension ladder it doesn’t and I looked through everything asked alexia all that was the one they said would be the best and would work it doesn’t don’t waste your money

This is a heavy-duty ladder try with plenty of convenience holes for screwdrivers and other tools. My test was on a Werner extension ladder. The tray did not sit level. It was 2.5 degrees tilting downward. The tray also doesn't fasten. It depends on weight. While a simple velco strap couple have changed this, without it the ladder should not be moved with the tray in place as it could easily fall off.Overall it is a very well-made tray at a reasonable price. The manufacturer simply didn't think of securing the tray to the ladder.

This tray is better than nothing, but it doesn't fit very well on my aluminum telescoping ladder and it doesn't add much value to my step ladder, which has a basic flip down tray. That is the on that I wanted to use this with, but it doesn't fit very well over the tray when it is flipped down or up. I hoped that I could just keep the original try down and place this on top of it, but it didn't work at all, so then I tried to set it on the tray when it was flipped up, but it couldn't be secured at all that way.I think this works for some specific ladders, but not mine. I don't know the brand of my ladders, but I bought them both at big box home improvement stores.

I have 2 ladders that fold into either a step ladder or extension ladder. Neither ladder has a shelf, so I was happy to find this product. It is well made and very sturdy. The shelf is made of thick plastic (ABS?) and the welds on the metal support arm are very good.My first observation is that the shelf does not sit very close to level. This will vary of different ladders, depending on the spacing of the rungs. Probably not a big deal but it would be nice if the support arm was adjustable to compensate for this.Secondly, this shelf simply rests on the ladder rungs and could be knocked off the ladder if bumped or if the ladder is moved. It would be nice if the shelf and support arm could latch onto the ladder.Considering the price point and these design flaws, I could only give 3 stars.
