Sleek, Compact Time Clock with Easy Cloud Tracking
This time clock looks really sleek and modern. It’s fairly small, so it doesn’t take up much space on the wall, and it feels well-made and good quality right out of the box. It offers several ways for employees to punch in and out, including fingerprint scan, RFID cards, fobs, or a PIN. The fingerprint option is nice because it helps prevent buddy punching. It also works in offline mode, so if the internet goes down it will still record punches and then sync everything once the connection is restored. The cloud software is one of the most useful parts. Attendance data automatically syncs to CrossChex Cloud, so you can log in through a web browser and view reports from anywhere. The web interface is simple enough to navigate as well, which makes checking hours, reviewing reports, and managing employee data pretty straightforward. It also allows you to export the data to programs like QuickBooks if needed, which can make payroll a lot easier. It supports multiple shifts (including overnight) and works with weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly pay periods. The system can also handle up to 500 users and store 50,000 punch logs before older records start cycling out. It comes with two RFID cards to get started, though additional ones will need to be purchased separately if you plan to use that option for more employees. Overall, it’s a solid and professional-looking time clock that seems like a great fit for small businesses wanting a cleaner, more automated way to track employee hours

Nice!
So far it works great and easy to use. Will see what happens if we don't sign up for the subscription plan.

Works great. Don't care for the app though.
Very simple set up but the platform to run everything on the computer, or the app for the phone, isn't as intuitive as I would like it to be. It took quite a while to figure out the software and to set up the registration. You need to set up a cloud account with this company to get it to work, which isn't ideal but a bit of a necessary evil, I guess. For the price point of $140, these are the kind of sacrifices you make. I would also like to have a more cross-platform friendly set up. As of right now, I can't seem to get the data to extract to an excel spreadsheet. I am not as much of a tech as I thought I was because I need to copy/paste it all right now. I do like that you have the option of giving the employees an RFID card instead of using their fingerprints. This would be beneficial for those who are uncomfortable with the fingerprint concept. Though i am not having any issues with that yet. There haven't been any real issues with scanning fingerprints yet either. Sometimes it takes a second or third try but usually it goes through without a problem. One of the biggest issues is if someone has greasy fingers or water on their hands. It will not pick up the fingerprint whatsoever then. I realized a simple fix for this is to just have some paper towel nearby to wipe fingers clean. This always solves that issue. In the end, it is a perfectly fine working device but needs a more user friendly UI and they need to have it set up to extract excel files from it. I would also like to use it independently from their cloud service, which should be completely doable.

Difficult to use
I found it quite difficult to operate this device. There is a learning curve to the simplistic controls. I was able to connect the device to my internet and add employees, but once i was able to get an amployee to clock in, she could not clock out.
