I recently purchased 4 of these kits and broke them down into singles to give away as thank you gifts to those attending a baby shower I recently gave. It was a vegan shower(at the request of the vegan mother to be) and this product fit in perfectly with the vegan theme. Everyone loved their gift and quite excited to start growing their own herbs. I highly recommend this product. The packaging was beautiful, the quality was top knotch and the value to quality ratio was amazing. I have not one complaint. Buy it...great Christmas gift...especially for a young want to be gardener. Exciting to plant and watch grow. So simple to get started.

Great product! I was hesitant because some of the reviews but I bought this as a gift with my fingers crossed. It was the right idea. We planted all 4 seed types on 4/21/20 (after allowing seeds to soak 24 hours). By 4/25, the basil was already sprouting. Today is 4/29, and the other 3 plants are starting to sprout as well. It looks like the thyme is the slowest so far...only barely visible towards the edge but these seeds were also the smallest. I’m really impressed with this product. I will soon need to move them to bigger pots I’m sure...which is a great thing to be in need of. Totally fun, totally cute! If I can figure out how to attach a photo, I’ll do that.

This easy-to-use seedling kit was a great quarantine gift idea for my partner. Unfortunately we didn’t have the green thumb to keep the sprouts alive. Pro: the kit is easy-to-use with step by step instructions. Pro: there are plenty of included seeds in the product so you can try twice. Pro: Basil seeds sprouted within TWO DAYS. The rest took maybe 5-8 days, but still proud that all four sprouted. Pro: Great packaging that makes this seedling kit a cute addition to our windowsill. Con: the included label sticks caused mold in all four of my plants. See photo. Luckily, I removed them in time, scooped the infected soil out and continued on. Con: these sprouts need lots of DIRECT sunlight. We have bright all-day indirect light but they still withered away. Con: Each sprout has it’s own requirements for water and sunlight to keep them prospering so this is not a one-size-fits all kit.

10/10 would recommend for someone getting started and lack of garden space. I don't have too much room but wanted to try my hand at some usable greenery, these give clear instructions and all materials needed to get started. My photos show start point and what the plants look like after about 3 weeks of sitting in my window sill. Parsley and cilantro definitely were the early and steady bloomers for me but the other two are coming around. Super giftable with the cute box it comes in, gift wrap style inside. Good idea for someone tough to buy for, has a green thumb or even a secret gift exchange etc. One tip I realized that isn't in the instructions, the plants grow towards the sun and need to be rotated so they don't grow totally in one direction. You can see in mine the first two that grew more quickly I didn't follow this early on so they're a bit less stable than the other two sprouts that I've been doing this during the past week. Just something I didn't know starting out that would have been useful info but nonetheless this is a great kit. I may try out the pepper one next!

Our herbs are not doing well. They germinated, started growing and then we got the polar vortex and they are dying. The kit is beautifully presented, and easy to use if you don’t live in Michigan and have extreme weather fluctuations. I gave these to my husband as a Hanukkah gift and he was delighted at the prospect of fresh herbs during the grey winter months. Our inner farmer has taken a hit but that shouldn’t dissuade others. We couldn’t predict this weather.

I got this because I wanted to start gardening. It comes with a video to watch and that is simple to follow as well as the instructions are easy however, the soil itself is not enough. My plants were not growing at all and I was going to give up but I decided to purchase some Miracle Grow soil. After I used Miracle Grow, my herbs started to actually grow.

I really like this kit! It’s cute and comes with everything you need! But the one thing I wish you had was a bigger selection of seeds. I only saw 1 option. I ended up buying 2 kits and then ordering seeds from another company. But I would recommend this kit for sure! 😉 **update** I talked with the company and they are so nice and patient, great to “deal” with. They care about their customers and try to work with them in different situations. I talked to them about wanting a bigger variety and they responded with that being something they are working on and launching soon! Thank you for being a good company that truly cares about feed back and your customers! Great customer service!

I tried sprouting the seeds multiple times with almost no luck. A few seedlings sprouted but then immediately died. Also the soil started to get moldy. I have some experience with plants and gardening and the soil and seeds in this kit seem they are very low quality. I would advise not buying this kit and just purchase what’s needed separately from a reputable supplier.
