Creative Batik (Search Press Classics) Paperback – August 8, 2016

This book is going to cost me a lot of money! She makes it look so easy and beautiful, that I have to try it. I have not paid much attention to batik because it did not seem very artistic. This book has changed my opinion and I can hardly wait to get started.

A bit too simplistic for my needs. Okay for beginners.

A complete, detailed and illustrated guide to learning the art of batik. Shipping was a bit slow but they said it would be so that worked for me. I am a happy customer!

I ordered this book to learn how to make batik projects. It didn't really contain the instruction that I was looking for, but has some nice art pieces in it. I wanted to create batik fabric for quilting. This book really wasn't what I was looking for.

Although this book has beautiful illustrations, it is not the best how-to book for beginners.

The book is informative and inspiring. The pictures show what can be done, and how to do it. I would recommend this to anyone interested in batiks.

Everything I hoped for. Easy to follow instructions, lots of visual examples and ideas. Great for beginners in this wax and dye craft.

Sono una textile artist e colleziono libri di approfondimento sulle varie tecniche artistiche diffuse nel mondo ed in particolare sull'arte tessile e delle varie tecniche. Ho acquistato anni fà anche un corso. Questo libro è entrato a far parte dei miei tesori. Lo consiglio vivamente a principianti del settore vi piacerà.

Another great book, full of easy to follow explanations and great pictures.

I chose this book mainly because of the cover-design,because it represented for me a new viewing-point to this old dyeing art. I have not yet wholly read it,but I`ve been positively surprised of the new twist,that it has brought to my viewing of batik-art in general. If somebody said or wrote again: "Beauty might save our planet", I might probably agree after getting acquainted with this colourful book.Some sincere seeker might like it,too, so I might warmly recommend. Thank You!

If you have never done Batik before this is a good book for tips and projects. It's worth the money!
