Must read for every Jim Corbett fan
This is one of those books that every Jim corbett fan should read. Jim very eloquently talks about the jungle and his childhood. This is a true account of what the Indian Jungle was!! Sadly overpopulation and farming has destroyed most of it now

Good but not for common readers. You have to be knowledgeable about Corbett so have to read his other books also.

As a North American reader, this is an account of another world, and another age. As such, it's a fine opportunity to consider what resonates, and what's outdated. I was sad when I finished reading the last page, and could've enjoyed twice as many chapters.
