TWILIGHT 4K ULTRA HD with Extended Edition on Digital

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The book didn't do it for me. In the movie, all that redundant chatter is eliminated. Unlike the book, vampire fight scenes were included. The cast was well picked, with the exception of Rosalie. I didn't find her to be drop dead gorgeous. The atmosphere of this small, rainy town was captured. For me, the characters came to life in this movie. You, finally, get a visualization and the feeling of being drawn into the characters of Edward and Bella. You can understand Bella's fascination and determination to unravel the mystery of Edward, after he saved her life. You understand, Edward is a "vampire". He acts differently. He talks differently. His looks are different. I think a lot of the book reviewers thought of him as a human male and found his behavior distasteful. The character is a vampire and he's alluring...period. He wasn't 17. He was old and you picked that up, right away. He has old eyes. Bella didn't have a chance. As a matter of fact, if she had shunned him, he would have "turned" her. All of Bella's begging to become like him would have been eliminated. He meant to have her. As it stood, he didn't need to turn her...he had her and she was willing. In the movie, the character of Edward was as hypnotic and mesmerizing as any of the vampires of old. Bella wasn't a wimp. The girl was hypnotized with a "light touch" and she wasn't fighting it. I would have enjoyed more action scenes. A tastefully done sex scene would have been a welcome addition. I understand Meyers is a Mormon. Can't write about premarital sex, but the occult is okay? Interesting. Also, there were moments of beauty and excitement in the "Twilight" movie. The nature scenes were beautifully shot. Actually, I found the book became a little boring. If you didn't care for Meyer's writing style, you may like the way it was adapted for the screen. I sure did. It was a mystery to me why Meyer's books are so popular because her writing in Twilight sucks...it's just the truth. I'm truly a reader. I couldn't force myself to read anymore of that series, but I was still enchanted by the premise of Twilight, while wishing another author had written it for her. I had to ponder why her books are so vastly popular. My take: Her books are modeled (rather closely) after great literary works, written by great authors, whose works have stood the test of time...."Romeo and Juliet"; "Wuthering Heights"; "MidSummer's Night Dream", etc..I really think that is one major attraction to her books. They resonate. They strike a familiar cord within us. Her characters actually give a "fresh spin" to these, well loved, great works of literature, and in the case of Romeo and Juliet; we get the happy ending we longed for. In the movie, "New Moon", my favorite scene was the angst Bella experienced, while trying to reach Edward in time to save his life and then succeeding. In those star crossed lovers, I was given the ending, I wished for Romeo and Juliet. Heathcliff and Catherine love each other. Heathcliff(ie, Bella) felt Catherine didn't deem him "good enough" for her, but Catherine truly loved him. They separate in misunderstanding. Both suffer immensely. Meyers gives us the ending we wanted for Heathcliff and Catherine...to reunite in their love, while alive. Combine that with the long standing intrigue of vampires and a ordinary, self absorbed girl that "makes good". Stehenie Meyers may not ever become a great author or even a good one, but she's smart. Meyers rewrote the endings of some great literary works and has left us clamouring for more. She may be brilliant. For sure, it's left her rich. You go girl!

Movie worked great.

It's something about this movie that makes me so fragile as a young woman. Like I don't crave male validation when I watch this movie... it makes me genuinely want to be a vampire. I really wish I could explain but I don't think it's something you can explain you have to watch the movie. This movie changes peoples lives. Bella is not being dramatic and the blue filter on this movie is absolutely insane but perfect for the time shout out Julia Wolf for making me want to rewatch this movie honestly, this was such a good use of money.

As a fan of the Twilight book series, I went into the movie adaptation with high hopes. While I did enjoy the film overall, I couldn’t help but feel that it didn’t quite live up to the emotional depth and character development that made the books so compelling. The heart of the story - Bella and Edward’s complex and intense relationship - was present, but the movie glossed over some major moments that were pivotal in building their connection. These omissions made their romance feel a bit rushed and less believable than in the novel. I found myself missing the quiet, introspective moments that the book captured so well. That said, Twilight still had its strengths. The moody cinematography captured the atmosphere of Forks beautifully, and the soundtrack added a haunting quality that fit the tone of the story. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson brought a certain awkward charm to their roles, and while the chemistry wasn’t always perfect, it grew on me as the movie progressed. In the end, while the movie didn’t fully match the richness of the book, it was still an enjoyable watch - especially for fans of the series. It may not be a perfect adaptation, but it’s a nostalgic and worthwhile addition to the Twilight saga.

Twilight is a movie that is adapted from a series of books that are mainly aimed at teens or young adults, setting teenage love drama in the world of vampires and werewolves (although the wolves are only hinted at in this movie). It stars Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, a vampire who is over 200 years old but perpetually stuck as a 17-year old, and Kristen Stewart who plays Bella Swan, a teenager whose parents are divorced, who just moves in with her dad in the Pacific Northwest, and ends up going to school with Edward and his "siblings" played by Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, and Jackson Rathborne. Of course, Bella and Edward fall for each other, and chaos (and sappiness) ensues. Taylor Lautner plays Jacob Black, a member of the local Native Americal tribe who also falls for Bella. His role in this movie is limited but gets more extensive over the course of the series. The movie is decent to good in some parts and bad in others. Despite having a cast with people who have proven acting chops (including Anna Kendrick, Peter Facinelli, Sarah Clarke (whom fans of the show 24 will recognize), and Billy Burke, it definitely suffers from some of the clunky dialog carried over from the books or made worse by the screenplay. And, the special effects have (at times) a lot to be desired for a big-budget movie. That said Pattinson and Stewart have very good chemistry (they would actually start dating while filming the movie) and did their best with sometimes very limited material to work with. They were both still pretty young when the movie was filmed (especially Stewart) and each has grown into being very good actors beyond what was shown in this film. Another issue with the film is that the ancillary characters truly do feel ancillary. They were always trying to get to the next scene between Edward and Bella and so the other characters (especially the other high schoolers) really did just feel like filler. Kendrick had a couple of good snarky lines, but beyond that, those characters were pretty useless. For those who get the Blu-Ray, the movie looks and sounds great. Especially the cinematography. As I said, some of the special effects left a bit to be desired, especially when the vampires were moving fast (superseded is done a lot better on the Flash TV series), but still I think the movie is worth seeing in the HD format. There are actually a ton of extras, including a commentary track on the film with the director, Pattinson, and Stewart, deleted and extended scenes, music videos, an almost hour-long making-of feature, a feature on the movie at comic-con, the trailers, some promotional material. All in all a good amount for people who like going through extras. Overall, the movie is good, but not great. Obviously, anything that is adapted from a series of novels that are aimed at teens is going to have a lot of people that love it and a lot of people that hate it. I think that the movie can be enjoyed even if you are not in the target audience if you know what to expect. It is mostly a love story, and one set in high school at that, and while it does have some action and a bit of violence, it is not a gory horror movie. That said, it is worth a look.

Great movie

Steh am Montag bereits zum 8.Mal in diesem Monat vor der Kinokasse an und DAS ist mir noch nie passiert! Der Film wird mit jedem Mal anschauen besser! Hab ihn zum 1.Mal gesehen ohne die Bücher zu kennen ( lagen schon monatelang zu Hause ) , danach sofort alle drei Bände gelesen, den 4.am Erscheinungstermin gekauft ... Also mir persönlich gefällt der Film 1000 Mal besser als der 1.Band! Allein die " Outing " - Szene ( Bella: Wie lange bist Du schon 17 ? Edward: Eine Weile ) schießt mir jedesmal aufs neue in die Venen, der reinste Adrenalinstoß ( insbesondere, als er mit ihr losrennt ) : Der Soundtrack : Wahnsinn! Die Bilder - selbst jene in denen Morde und Kämpfe gezeigt werden : ästhetisch, auf ein Minimum von Gewalt und Blut beschränkt ! Hier stehen nicht die Handlung sondern die Personen im Vordergrund ( eine wirklich willkommene Abwechslung zu dem üblichen Einheitsbrei ) und v.a. Robert Pattinson ( Klarstellung ! Bin kein Fan und nicht in ihn verliebt ! ) macht für die geringe schauspielerische Erfahrung die er hat und die ausgesprochen schwierige Rolle ( noch dazu angesichts der Erwartungen unzähliger Leser! ) seine Sache mehr als exzellent ( Und wer der Meinung ist, er würde ständig die gleiche Mimik zeigen, soll sich mal etablierte " Schauspieler " wie Tom Cruise ansehen ! Dagegen wirkt Patterson wie ein Chamäleon! )! Z.B. Einfach großartig, wie er den inneren Zwiespalt und Schmerz in seinem Gesicht, seiner ganzen Körperhaltung demonstriert, als er sich im Sonnenlicht endlich vollständig vor ihr " demaskiert ". Die zum Buch veränderten Handlungen bzw.Dialoge sind zum großen Teil gewinnbringend. So kommt Bella für mich beispielsweise im Film wesentlich sympathischer und liebenswerter rüber , obgleich es ihr in meinen Augen immer noch entschieden an Zärtlichkeit und Hingabe mangelt um ihre " angebliche " Liebe zu Edward ( Hierzu verweise ich auf meine Buchrezensionen ) wirklich echt wirken zu lassen bzw. sie in mancherlei Hinsicht immer noch zu kalt und taff reagiert. Beispiel Edward : Ich weiß immer noch nicht, ob ich mich kontrollieren kann ! Bella : Du kannst es ! oder Edward : Ich habe schon Menschen getötet ! Bella : Ist mir egal ! Edward : Ich wollte DICH töten ! Bella : Das spielt keine Rolle ! Aussagen wie diese wirken für mich angesicht ständig neuer Zeitungsberichte über die Verrohung und Gewaltbereitschaft insbesondere von Jugendlichen nicht gerade durchdacht und verantwortungsvoll und passen - finde ich - auch in keinster Weise zu seinem sehr wohl verantwortungsvollen Denken und Handeln ! Da hätte man die Sache entschieden besser machen können. Und auch Bellas Antwort " Nein " auf seine Frage " Hast Du Angst ?" stört irgendwo mein Empfinden, angesichts der Tatsache, daß die Angst ihr in der eben noch gezeigten Kameraeinstellung ins Gesicht geschrieben steht und sie " ihren geliebten Edward " eiskalt belügt. Dadurch kommt Bella auch im Film ziemlich emotionslos fast schon kühl herüber ( z.B. Bellas letzte Aussage im Film " Ich weiß , was ich will ! " Das ist zwar schön für sie, aber angesichts dessen, was der eifrige Leser und Zuseher bereits von Edwards Ansicht darüber weiß geradezu egoistisch, nachdem sie sich offenbar nicht im mindesten darum kümmert, wie ER dazu steht ... ) Eine etwas weichere einfühlsamere Linie hätte ihr - finde ich - gut getan! Schade! Das Potential wäre sicher vorhanden gewesen. Vielleicht mit einer anderen Schauspielerin ? Oder liegt es schlicht und ergreifend nur an der deutschen Übersetzung ? Hab mir sicherheitshalber auch gleich die ohnehin früher erwartete englische DVD bestellt, mal sehn, ob die das eine oder andere noch besser macht... Was gibt es noch zu sagen ? Herrlich grotesk die Vampire beim 1.Kochversuch ( Schade, daß sie sich umsonst bemüht haben ... ), beim Baseballspielen ... Auch gelungen : Bellas und Edwards gemeinsame Flucht, vorbei an den "mensch"lichen Klassenkollegen, die gerade ihr sorgenfreies Teenagerdasein zelebrieren, indem sie sichtlich guter Dinge aus dem Restaurant " torkeln " ... Hier die einen - da die anderen ? In jedem Fall hat dieser Film sehr wohl Tiefgang , man muß nur bereit sein, sich darauf einzulassen bzw. die Augen und Ohren entsprechend öffnen. Ich kann den Film jedenfalls ohne wenn und aber empfehlen! Noch nie zuvor hat es mich derart oft ins Kino getrieben , bin normalerweise eher kein Kinogeher und total Hype-immun ! Aber dummerweise diesmal ist es anders ! Weil mir der Film wirklich ins Blut fährt, und ich gar nicht genug davon kriegen kann ! Am liebsten ginge ich schon jeden Tag ins Kino ! Weiß gar nicht, wie ich es bis Anfang April aushalten soll( da erscheint laut Amazon die englische DVD! ), Soundtrack, etc. hab ich schon! Für Merchandise ( z.B. Schmuck, Schirm, Lesezeichen ) empfehle ich übrigens close up posters ... und für mehr Einblick in Edwards Innenleben ( Lesenswert! Für mich - sofern es je erscheint - garantiert das BESTE Buch der Serie!!! Bewirkt übrigens noch tieferes Verständnis des Filmgeschehens! )die deutsche Übersetzung von " Midnight sun " ... Zum Thema Altersgruppe noch eine kleine Anmerkung : ICH finde nicht, daß es ein Film für Teenager oder gar Kinder ist! Für so einige Aussagen im Film ( und auch Buch ) ist meiner Meinung nach schon eine gewisse innere Reife nötig um zu verstehen. Und oberflächlicher Herz-Schmerz- Schmonses sieht - jedenfalls für mich - anders aus ...

Il s’agit du DVD de Twilight 1 Fascination. Film tiré de la célèbre saga Twilight. Ce film est le tout premier opus de cette saga. Isabella, dit Bella, déménage à Forks , pour habiter avec son père. Adolescente réservée , elle est soudain envoûtée par un garçon, Édward . Mais il cache un terrible secret. Il est rempli de mystère. Bella se pose beaucoup de questions à son sujet mais qui est vraiment Édward ? Il ne semble pas humain... Très bon film, qui ouvre les portes de cette histoire si connue. Il fait partie désormais de ces films cultes. Un amour impossible dans un monde vampirique...
