An amazing book that begins with the Camping Check List and includes checking the camp site to campsite safety and explanation of healthy camp food preparation and all that is needed to do so.It includes the different types of cooking from grilling to cooking in foil, cooking vegetables and also desserts.A must have book for all those who love camping. Recommended.

I have enjoyed these recipes that Debbie Madson has provided for us.Kids will love these. I don't just use these for camping, many of the recipesare great meals at home.

Cooking in the great outdoors adds more flavor to everything you cook. This cookbook has great information and recipes for living in the great outdoors. Starting with dutch oven recipes and ending with campfire desserts. Thank you and enjoy your time out and enjoy your day.

Not geared for kids to use for cooking;parental supervision is required.I loved the introduction to the book about camping in general. It makes everyone aware that there is more to make at a campfire other than hot dogs and hamburgers.

Good cookbook. But nothing new, nothing really jumped out at me.

Some good ideas

Can't wait for camping season

Okay but aimed at USA market I think. Personally baking a cake to take with me is not campsite cooking.

This book has some great ideas. I found that some were not ideal for long term camping but great for campsites or a qeekend away. Some also translate very well into everyday cooking.....always a good sign. I would recommend this book, it has some great recipes regardless of where you cook them.

It’s ok. The one recipe I saw on website isn’t in there. Glad it was cheap.
