TopsKnives Little Bugger Full Tang Fixed Blade- Tumble Finish Blade Finish- Coyote Tan Kydex Sheath

Comfortable, compact EDC.
These days most knife enthusiasts (with fat wallets) want only premium super steels. I have to admit they do have an appeal and I own a couple myself. But this is not bad steel and Tops has a solid reputation when it comes to heat treating 1095. Which means you can expect a fixed, full tang blade like the little bugger, to be reasonable strong and to hold an edge. Sharpening this blade on a ceramic rod shouldn't be a chore either, provided the edge isn't ignored and beaten up under hard use. This knife did not come shaving sharp and I touched it up first thing on a Green Elephant ceramic honing rod. (The Green Elephant is a good choice for honing Chef knives as well as your folding and fixed blade EDC).With a blade length of only 2.38 inches this is a non-threatening little companion that can get the job done. The jimping on the spine of this knife provides a positive thumb grip without being uncomfortably aggressive. If you needed fire in an emergency wooded situation, this little guy would be capable enough to shave feather sticks and (using the edge on the spine) to scrap fluff for kindling. This is a lite, compact knife with a comfortable handle and a decent quality sheath that holds the knife snuggly in place. You shouldn't have to worry about losing this knife even during strenuous activities. When the stuff hits the fan this little guy just might get you out of some serious trouble.

Another great and useful knife from TOPs
The Tops Little Bugger designed by Matt Graham is a great little fixed blade. I like that it’s a small and light fixed blade but not too light. The blade is 1095 and Tops does a great heat treatment on their blades.Mine came super sharp and the grind is perfect. Love the wharncliffe blade as it’s super useful for slicing and general cutting tasks. The spine has a notch cut for a ferro rod and the jimping is aggressive and on a blade this thin that’s excellent because your thump isn’t going slip off it.Love the micarta handles with the black liners. I can get about three and half finger on the handle and I have large hands. The handle is slim but wide so it it doesn’t feel too thin in the hand. Now the sheath. I hate when you get a great fixed blade with a crappy sheath. This sheath is done very well. It has excellent retention. The kydex is thin but well formed and strong. It doesn’t feel cheap. I had a Mini Scandi neck knife at on time and that sheath was awful. Poor retention and the kydex was just was too thin. I like this sheath a lot. I love the clip. Yes it’s plastic but lots of sheaths use these plastic clips because when you clip this in or out of a pocket or in the waist band it’s comfortable. Well done.I originally had ordered the Tops MSF 4.0 folder (made in Italy) and had a few issues with that knife. So I returned it for the The Little Bugger. Well done Tops. This can also be used as a neck knife as the sheath has great retention for that.

Love It
I love this knife! I was a bit back and forth before purchasing this. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it or not. It has now become my EDC knife. I love everything about it. The handle is very spacious for a smaller knife. The blade is so simple to sharpen and strop. The knife fits in the sheath great with perfect tension and perfect release. Also, when I conceal this knife on my side, the sheath keeps the knife very close to my body and it is not noticeable at all that the knife is on me. The sheath is also extremely comfortable when wearing it with the knife.Only con is the lanyard hole is a bit on the small side and it’s tough to get 550 paracord through the hole.Great job designing this little beauty! Well done!

A Must Buy! You will be glad you did!!!!!
I just recently purchased the knife because I like Wharnecliffe blades. I enjoy using this knife for carving Red Maple....this is an very hard and dense wood. Thin blades are useful for delicate and precise cuts but, this blade can handle large diam. pieces of wood as well. I wood give this knife a 10 if I could.....I use this as a EDC neck knife. All I can say is Buy Is you will not regret it.

Too Little?
If you intend to cut tiny things buy this knife. A razor knife might be cheaper! Should be 3 times bigger and 1/3 the cost.

Perfect small Bushcraft blade after modification
I give the knife after a modification. The blade comes from the factory with a "modified" scandi grind. It has a small secondary bevel not one bevel as in a true scandi grind. I removed the second bevel with a diamond stone to give it a true Scandinavian grind and now it cut superbly! The handle and scales are perfect. I've used the knife all day without hand fatigue. The sheath holds the blade well.

Many carry options. Clip easily moved to other positions.
Love this little knife. Didn’t arrive “shaving” sharp but easy to sharpen further.
