Great quality
It was perfect for what I use it for. Turns on automatically when you walk by and the light has just the right amount of brightness for nighttime use.

One of the night lights doesn't work! What can we do??
For halls or any dark area in the house.

Design... OK, inplementation... terrible
While the basic design of the nightlight is not bad, the implementation could be much better. First, the design: once I convinced both of the nightlights to function (more on this later) the ON time of one was 1 minute, 20 seconds; the ON time of the other was 3 minutes, 5 seconds. Not exactly a tight tolerance on the stack-up of the components. The addition of a small potentiometer (maybe a $0.25 item in quantity) to control the discharge time of the capacitors and thus the ON time of the nightlight would make the design more friendly. Now the implementation: neither of the nightlights worked out of the package. One did nothing and the other was intermittent if "wiggled" in the socket. I disassembled the "wiggler" and found a cold solder joint on the connection between the small wire on the circuit board and one of the spade connectors. After removing, cleaning and re-soldering the connection, this one worked. So, upon disassembling the other, non-working nightlight, I found that the same spade connector was soldered, but the small wire to the circuit board was missing. Removing and cleaning the spade connector, adding the missing small wire and re-soldering the connection brought this nightlight to life. As with so many off-shore (I will use this generic location) products, while the price may be very attractive, the process is quantity over quality. Fortunately, I have spent most of my life figuring out how things work, and have a well equipped workshop, so I can usually fix what doesn't work. This, however is not an endorsement for shoddy material and workmanship that we all pay for. End of rant...

They stay on long enough but not so long that you can’t return to sleep if it is night time.
