What is the difference between the speakers from SPR-60C and SPR-60 ? Witch one is more recommended for a Honda Civic ? thanks !

The SPR60c is a component set of speakers with the tweeter and crossovers separate from the midrange woofer. The SPR60 is a coaxial set of speakers where everything is built in to one unit and the tweeter is in the center of the midrange cone. As long as your car fits 6 3/4 speakers either one will work but you will probably need an aftermarket amplifier to properly power the C speakers to get the best out of them. You will also have to find a place to mount the tweeters and hide the crossovers. The SPR60 non c speakers are better for a non amplified setup, meaning the head unit used powers the speakers instead of an external amplifier.

This is my first set of Alpine componants. How do i change the DB setting for the tweeter. Never seen the pin set up before.

I rly like the way Alpine has made this crossover. It's pretty straight forward, but can seem a lil confusing. There are 4 db settings and 5 pins. I was sortta dumbfounded when I started myself. The 1st and 2nd pin are 0 dB. the 2nd and 3rd pin are 2 dB. 3rd and 4th pin are 4 db. Finally the 4th and 5th pin are for 6db. I have mine set at +4 db. It's a good setting for me. Perfect highs w/o any distortion. Hope the helped.
