Not strong enough. In fact, each of my wooden paths have broken from simple use x 1/2 year. I have attempted to restring . I am sorry to tell you that these are not made sturdily. Did not request money back as it had been a few months. Would think that slate would be lovely and hold up best? Ubeewell

Good morning, Teresa. You can turn the walkway over, so the curve goes the other way. However, it may not bend as much as shown in the picture.
