Beautiful coffee table book of pearl-related photos and paintings
A beautiful book full of lovely photos. Definitely not suitable for carrying around as it's very heavy. It's a true coffee table book.It has some photos of famous pearl-related paintings, photos of famous people wearing pearls etc., but mostly of Mikimoto pearl necklaces, many with beautiful designs rather than just plain strands.

Appearance and Content
This book is very disappointing. One expected a book like Graff or Emeralds or Rubies, books with excellent photographs and detailed supporting text. Pearl Necklace is almost totally photos of women wearing pearls, with minimal text back-up. if a reader only wants to looks at photographs, this book may suffice. if a reader has a genuine interest in the subject, expect to be seriously disappointed.
