LD Products Compatible Toner Cartridge Replacement for Xerox Phaser 6130 High Yield (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, 4-Pack)

Seems every time I try to order toner for my 12-year old workhorse Xerox Phaser 6130n, my options get more limited. These came before the expecting delivery date and installed pretty easily. Printouts are on par with what I've gotten in the past so not issues there. The one thing that bugs me is that it states one the display:Non-XEROX TonerIt doesn't seem to affect the functionality on it but I've nver seent this displayed before on any other thrid party cartridge I've installed.

Update - tried to arrange for return. Amazon set fixed time period for full return of cost. Since that expired (it was about 1-2 months, which is not always sufficient time to open and adequately test all cartridges), I would now receive only a partial refund and would have to pay for shipping both ways. Result is that I would likely receive far less than the actual cost to me. Contacted the manufacturer - they said that since order was placed via Amazon, I had to deal with Amazon's return policy. In other words, product fails, but I am expected to take loss. Suggest finding other supplier and not ordering from these people again. Company should have just sucked it up and given me a full refund in an effort to maintain good customer relations. But they didn't. They have my money so they don't really care.I have ordered these laser cartridge refills many times over the past 2-3 years. Although they did not produce great print quality or last nearly as long as advertised, they were still a good value for the money. Well, not anymore. The last 2 black ink cartridges I received produced gray and faded print which was barely readable. The print was completely unsatisfactory for most uses. Doubt if I will ever order from them again. A waste of about $50 since I ordered a complete set.

We installed the Xerox Phaser 6130N on 4/18/09. We needed to replace the black cartridge on 10/1/09 after 1551 pages. On 12/5/09, we replaced the magenta and yellow cartridges after 2084 pages. The cyan cartridge was the last to need to be replaced. Keep in mind, these were the pre-loaded toner cartridges from Xerox. Since then, we have replaced the black cartridge once and it still is at 80% capacity after 3955 total pages (2404 pages since we replaced the original). The magenta, yellow, and cyan cartridges are still on the FIRST REPLACEMENT after 3955 total pages (1871 pages since we replace the original). The Xerox website ([...]) states that the page yield should be approximately 1,900 for the color cartridges and 2,500 for the black cartridge, at a price of $89.99 for EACH color cartridge, and $84.99 for EACH black cartridge. When we originally bought these cartridges from 4inkjets they cost $83.27 for the set of four. Now, THEY ONLY COST $55.99 FOR THE SET OF 4. This is a savings of $298.97 FOR CARTRIDGES THAT ARE COMPARABLE IF NOT MORE PRODUCTIVE!

I have bought a full set of these inks four times now, and will continue to do so. That is the most brief and useful review I can write.However, I have found some quality issues. On two occasions, I have placed a new cartridge from LD in my Phaser, and the Phaser refuses to recognize the new ink. It still reports empty. So, I have thrown out two new cartridges. But overall, this is not enough to over-ride the great price and value these offer. Because of this glitch, I now stock up on two extra cartridges of each ink, just in case one of the new ones is a dud.Print quality is almost as vivid as the Xerox toners, the cartridges seem to last about the same to me. My printer seems to suffer no damage, and my pages come out clean and bright.

I have used these cartridges for a few years without any problems, but recently, when going to remove an empty cartridge from the laser printer, the slider would not fully retract in order to remove the old cartridge and replace it with a new one. After taking the printer apart I discovered that a part (powder ink slider door) from the cartridge came off inside the carriage, and the part prevented it from being fulling retracted in order to be removed. Same thing happened with the other 3 cartridges. I needed to drill a 1/2 inch access hole in the front of each cartridge carriage in order to remove the loss part with tweasers so the empty cartridge could be removed. If I couldn't remove the old cartridge the laser printer would have been worthless.

Great value when it works.I have used this product in the past. No issue at all. However, the new black cartridge may give you problem, the printer would give an error message of "invalid black". I had to put in the old chip from previous LD one, but the counter couldn't be reset, and it says "replace black cartridge" now. Still cannot use it. Wasted money on it this time.

Xerox has sent out software to defeat the Phaser 6130 function that shows ink levels in all non-OEM cartridges. I have sought a fix from LD, but have gotten none. The problem is Xerox's anti-competitive, monopolistic practices, and is not LD's fault. That said, purchasers should be aware of this downside to buying and installing these cartridges.

Works great in my Xerox printer. Printer recognize it's not Xerox ink, so there is a error message. But overall works good.

I was a little leery as I know a lot of these third party cartridges cause error messages in printers. These did not. Popped the black cartridge in, the printer calibrated and then started to spit out prints. I'll pop all the cartridges in, before I need to, just to make sure the rest are fine. I'll update my review after.I had an issue with the Cyan cartridge throwing an error. My printer wouldn't print. I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement cartridge that arrived within days. It works perfectly. Great customer support and service. Thank you
