Great way to help me distill. Fast set up on my Anvil Foundry. Fill with stainless steel saddles and topped with copper ones. Great price and fast shipping.

The top of the condenser is bent as is the alcohol outlet pipe, this was as soon os I removed it from the box.

It distilled the cloudy liquid into a much finer clear liquid. Water flow for cooling is very touchy when your adjusting the flow.

Update: replacement column arrived in perfect condition in about three weeks. The new column most definitely is an nu-opened unit. I have revised my original 3-star to 4...just because of the original debacle. Most users of the turbo 500 line are well familiar with the product and it's capabilities, the column that is...the boiler is just a coffee pot so no need to go there. However, the item I received was obviously a "return" and not new or it had been intentionally delivered to Amazon for "resale" of an item that couldn't be sold off the shelf due to the damaged condition. It's not major although the lower condenser mount, that's "plastic"BTW, had a stripped pressure clamp screw and the appearance of an attempted repair as there was also a bit of silicone in the joint (silicone won't adhere to poly so that was someone's "bad choice" for adhesive) and some small "dings". Anyways, should receive a replacement here shortly, hopefully.

I've never produced anything this high a content from a standard 10% wash, it just speaks to the efficiency of the turbo 500 condenser.
