Received this for a Switch OLED. Instructions are very vague, It states, Connect and press HOME key, There is not a HOME key. Even the diagrams that come with it do not designate a HOME key. Mine lights up but is dead in the water. Not a single button will get ANY results. The pamphlet that it comes states PS4 Controller but is advertised as Switch OLED compliant on Amazon. Don't waste your money if you will be hooking up to a Switch. Update 3/7/2023, Received a replacement and the exact same thing, no communication with the switch console. I will be sending BOTH controllers back.

This is a solid replacement controller for people who still game on the PS4. I used this controller with my launch model PS4. Feels a bit different than the standard PS4 controller, but works well. D-Pad is responsive and handles fighting games more than adequately. Analog sticks feel good. I mainly play third person games and they worked nicely with those. This is a good backup controller that you can rely on for two player games if a friend comes by, or if your main controller is on the fritz.

I like this controller! Much more comfortable then the orignal one. My switch is the revised original version with extended battary (not the oled version), it fits very well. For the oled switch I believe it should also fit well with two adjustable clip in the middle of the controller.

My 7 year old has dropped his switch countless times since march(when he got it) after going through two sets of joycons I was over it. A little magical search lead me to this gem. Has he stopped dropping his switch? Nope. But at least I’m not dealing with broken joycons 🙃 the screen fits snugly in there and makes a nice solid control for him to hold(drop). I’m sure it won’t last FOREVER… but it’s better than busted ribbons in the joy cons.
