It was annoying to try to figure out how to get the case on the phone. The pictures were small and didn’t show much. The silicon they’re talking about us the outer ring on the sides of the phone. Open the large tab on the short end. This is where the charging cord goes. Pull up on it until you see a slight space. Either slide a flathead screwdriver or a metal nail file to gently loosen the seal and corners. Pull up on the corners and peel it off. You will see how the rest opens up and seals back up. Loosening the seal on the bottom is the hard part. It does not come with a screen cover. But the lip sticks up a quarter of an inch and has a protective hard plastic piece over the top speaker and home button. I like this because dirt and cat hair doesn’t get trapped inside of it. It looks like one of the Otterboxes but is clear. It shows off the color of my phone. I have Product Red. It does not have a gaudy company logo plastered in it.

At first it looked like it was going to work, the case is big, a massive amount of plastic that is really very breakable. It was impossible for me to separate the two panels that supposedly would have housed the phone. I wasted over 15 minutes or more of my precious time, trying to figure out the ridiculous manual, the misleading drawings of retarded hands, the red dots indicating the points of separation for the panels. There was no way to do it , with or without the instructions, unless you smash the case with a sledge hammer, there is no way to separate this case in two parts in a civilized way. Mind you, I am a guy that fixes computers and replaces batteries on my watches and/or connects an entire audio center with amplifiers and speakers, among many other things. I am not dumb. The plastic quality is cheap, flimsy, weaker than a medication plastic bottle. It looks a lot better in the pictures with the description of this item. NOW, I have to drop it off, return it and shop for something else. I wanted a MADE IN AMERICA case.

Nothing to complain abt but it’s is a bit of inconvenience to use this case. Made my iPhone twice as heavy and made it too big. The buttons were really hard to press and the interior of the case broke after a month or two of use, but it’s alright for the price I guess, if you’re looking for sturdiness, go for an otter box

I worked for about 20 min trying to separate the pieces of this case when I took it out of the box, and I was about to give up and return it. I watched the video multiple times--thinking I must be missing an important step (I wasn't). I thought the pieces were fused together by mistake at the factory. My husband worked with it for a couple of minutes and was able to get the pieces apart without breaking anything--I guess my hands weren't strong enough? I don't normally require assistance with opening jars or anything else, so this was exceptionally difficult. The application was a breeze after that and I'm happy with the case. I would have given this 5 stars, but I think they need to ship the case in SEPARATE PIECES rather than assembled because it is ridiculously hard to take apart. Also, the picture makes it look like the phone is completely encased, but is is not. A separate screen protector is required, and this is written in the description. I just didn't read it carefully enough.
