SMEAR FREE WINDOW CLEANING FROM 3M
Scotch-Brite Window Cloth Microfibre Ref GN030122024A versatile microfibre window cleaning cloth from 3M. Designed for smear free cleaning of windows (or any glass), mirrors and stainless steel that has always proved awkward for retaining finger marks. Measuring just 31cms x 29cms it is not a particularly large cloth but big enough for all of it's intended uses. In fact trying to clean windows with a large cloth or leather can prove counter productive. The colour is a bright flo-yellow - light enough to show when it has picked up dirt and ready for a wash. The manufacturers say it can be washed up to 50 times but I think you will loose count long before that so easy is it to keep clean. Washed by hand or machine, it is so light it dries really quickly. It can be used on it's own or with cleaning chemicals, wet or dry it's that versatile. It's main feature however is it's smear free performance and to really test this I used it to clean the french windows against a low sun which shows up every little mark. Result - a really great performance without the usual re-cleaning inside and out. Made of polyester (85%) and nylon, the weave is tighter than on some microfibre cloths giving it a firmer feel and I would venture a guess that it is the construction that makes it so effective. At just over £3.00 for this small cloth it looks expensive until you realise just what it can do. It will pay for itself many times over in time saved, ease of use and satisfaction given. Highly recommended.

Good quality
I was firstly surprised by the thinness of the material of this product; certainly thinner than the microfibre cloths I've used before. It measures 30cm x 32cm, which is a decent size and so means it can be bunched up.Whilst I was careful removing the cloth from its packaging, when I removed the plastic tags holding it in place to the cardboard backing I noted that the cloth came out in tufts, which didn't reassure me as to the durability of the cloth. However, with mirror surfaces the cloth is very good and even generally it gets the job done and seems durable.Good quality.

Window Micro-Cloth
This micro fibre cloth does a good job of cleaning windows and ensures you s=finish the job with a nice smear free finish.I started off by washing the windows down with a damp cloth and removing excess water with a squidgee, before using this cloth to remove the final droplet and polish the glass to a nice bright shine. It worked very well like this and the windows looked great afterwards with no residue or smears on them. A small, simple, yet effective cleaning cloth.Feel free to check out my blog which can be found on my profile page.

Get two if you can - one wet and one dry
These microfibre cloths are great for cleaning windows, but I would advise getting two. That way you can have a damp one to remove the thicker marks and dirt and then use the dry one to polish the windows up. I did this with one by having a corner damp to do the main clean and then using the dryer part for the polish up. Also they need to be washed at a very high temperature (95 degrees) which defeats the ecological argument for using them The results are more impressive than newspaper and window cleaner, though it does require a little more elbow grease.

Wet or dry leaves a smear-free finish on glass and chrome
It's smaller in size than the equivilent E-Cloth. When dry it made a very good job of polishing the the bathroom mirrors and chrome taps, leaving a smear-free shine. Used wet it removed water marks on the chrome kitchen tap and, it left the glass extract hood and glass splashback shiny and smear-free. It didn't make such a good job of the stainless steel extract chimney whether used wet or dry, but that's true of anything used so far. That said, it's used every day.

A very good cloth for cleaning windows and mirrors
A very good cloth for cleaning windows and mirrors. It does state it's smear free but this also depends on your cleaning product and how dirty the surface. I prefer cleaning my windows with Autoglym Fast Glass, in combo with this cloth it does wonders. The microfiber feels slightly different from my other microfiber cloths, difficult to explain (in a good way). It's 30x32cm and can be washed.

Wonderful "when I'm cleaning windows" !
Brilliant microfibre cloth , basically does as its says , cleans and shines windows, partition glass , mirrors and glossy kitchen cupboards to a smear free shine. No hard work needed to clean as it has good absorption , washes well and is said to be washable 50 times , is quick drying , I find it useful in the car for a smear free windscreen.

Removes dirt and dust without unsightly smears on - on windows and glass.
These are superb quality cleaning cloths. This one targets windows and can be used with just hot water to clean windows and glass inside your home. I use this for my glass kitchen table (had no idea it would be such high maintenance!) and it is superb in that it removes residue and leaves no smears.Highly recommended.

Does as it says on the tin
A good cloth for multi-use cleaning that doesn't leave streaks? Yes. I've used this on my balcony windows and bedroom windows and it does as it says on the tin.Coincidentally it's useful on other surfaces too. I've used on my TV and window sills too.

Excellent
Ideal for cleaning my stainless steel kitchen sink (although I did use 'Barkeepers Friend' as well on the worst stains. Used dry, it does a good job of shining up mirrors.

great product...
Scotch-Brite Window Cloth Microfibre is one very handy cloth to have and I have purchased quite a few of these as they clean windows wonderfully without leaving any smears or smudges. I simply spray whatever I am using to clean the windows and with a couple of wipes of this fabulous cloth my windows are shiny and clean without leaving any tell-tale signs behind. The Scotch-Brite Window Cloth can be washed up to fifty times, personally, I have not counted how many times I have washed mine all I do know they are so easy to wash simply throw in the washing machine or hand wash. The cloth is very fine and light, therefore, it does not take a lot of washing to get it clean and as the cloth due to it being microfibre, is so fine it dries in a short time ready for the next window cleaning day.I am happy to recommend Scotch-Brite Window Cloth Microfibre to anyone who wants to clean windows or mirrors in a speedy way without smears or smudges getting in the way.

Surprisingly effective even when used dry
Scotch's microfiber cloth lives up to most of the hype - it may not entirely be smear free as claimed, but you have to look very closely and from the right angle to see them, and it's still a massive improvement on every other kind of window cloth I've used. It works surprisingly well dry, particularly on mirrors, so doesn't really need to be wet unless you have some really ground in dirt, and even then in most cases it can be removed dry without needing to polish too vigorously. As the name implies, it's best on glass surfaces but does a pretty decent job on chrome taps as well. The only real niggle is the packaging, with the plastic tabs so tight it's hard to cut them off without inadvertently cutting the cloth as well.

Great little microfibre for glass products
Microfibres can make a massive difference to your cleaning experience as the teeny tiny fibres literally grab dirt and whisk it away and they are washable meaning they are better for the environment than sending cleaning wipes or kitchen paper to landfill. This one can be washed on a boil wash up to 100 times meaning it will give you more than value over its lifetime. This microfibre cloth is really good though, It Literally grabs grease and dirt easily leaving a perfectly clean surface, I tried it on my spectacles and it was just as good as my superfine microfibre cloth (originally designed for removing residue from sat navs on your windscreen) despite this one having raised fibres. On mirrors and windows it's fantastic it cleans brilliantly and coupled with my jar her vac I've never had such clean glass!I would definitely purchase this again once it's efficacy has reduced.
