Goodmans XB4CDG Karaoke Machine with CDG Disc

I got this for my 9 year old daughter. Nice unit, not flimsy, easy to set up and quite loud. If you were to replace the mic I`m sure it`d be even better, but it`s a minor quibble. My girl and her friends were all singing Lady Gaga within minutes. Very good value. Prompt delivery to the Cz Rep. All round a successful present.

Brilliant little product, even better now the price has been slashed although I'm still satisfied with having paid a higher price tag. Family love it, was easy to set up, and looks great for little girls and works pefectly. Could have included a 2nd microphone since there are 2 jack points, but other than this it is great.

Bought this product for my 8 year old daughter and she loves it. Small and neat and can be moved around and stored easily Loved by both young and old once you get started it is so addictive. Easily connected to the TV with a scart lead (provided) and words appear on screen. Only negative I would say is that there is storage for 2 mic's but product only comes with 1 mic. All in all really lovely product.

Goodmans - should have known better - rubbish product - disc simply did not play and had to explain to our five year old on Christmas morning that one of the Elves made a mistake when making it - letter to Father Christmas and alternative product from our friends at amazon resolved the matterI will never buy Goodmans again -

We bought it as a christmas present but to be used over the christmas period when having a party. It was to replace an existing karaoke which was 5 years old. The sound quality is not as good as the old one and only one microphone socket worked so we had to use the old system.I have tried to contact the company by telephone but they are not open for calls till the 5th january 2011,when we will be trying to get a refund .

In brief the karaoke system is very good, however it would be better...The lack of audio out, of a remote control and the existence of a single speaker(mono)reduce a higher rate.The price was good but adding the postal fees to Greece makes it almost expensive...Anyway it works very good the design is super (if you are a girl, of course)and my daughter is very happy.

Well I cant wait tommorow is my birthday (24th of march) and I have had to check to make sure all was included and since it was raining it wasnt damaged during transportation.I have to say I am really excited to play this karroake and I think my family are too at my party!!!It came in good hands and the rain didnt damage it and I am really happy I bought this one.Cant wait to finally play it!!!I am not sure what I will give it since I have to wait till tomorow but I would give it 5/5 since it was all included like the description said and we are all going to have a brillant time!!!-Birthday comes: I had an amazing time all my family where up singing and it was a BLAST I think this will never be put back in the box and I think this will stay in the living room and I dont think there will be a second that it wont be being used!

I actually bought this product for a baby and toddler group I give once a week. The class can get quite busy and I found myself having to shout-sing over the little ones which was putting a strain on my voice. I wanted something that I could carry to the class every week (compact and light weight) and would act as a microphone and speaker. This is perfect for this purpose and at a very good price too.It's also a karaoke machine (its intended purpose) and my daughter and I have a lot of fun singing songs on it with the CD it came with and some others I purchased too. The microphone works well and it contains an on-off switch. The machine manages a reasonably loud volume, if needed. Haven't yet plugged it into the TV for the full karaoke with titles effect, so cannot comment on how that works.
