Fine pegs but don’t rely on their dimensions.
The pegs are of fine quality and will be useful to me on my current project. One word of warning though, don’t rely on the dimensions given on the Amazon listing. I predrilled holes expecting them to be accurate but…ended up having to redesign the project. Probably my fault in assuming.

Peg dolls and the storm.
I was teaching the Bible story of Jesus walking on water. I had a container of water, a toy sailboat, and the peg dolls to illustrate the story with preschoolers. The peg dolls were the disciples and Jesus. The kids stirred the water to make waves. It was great and the kids loved it!

Exactly what you expect
These are fantastically well-made! They are smooth without splinters. The wood is very sturdy. I have purchased these several times for my kids and for children’s art classes. Paint pens and acrylic work well on them. It is best to gesso/prime them for kids first so that they don’t have to do multiple layers of paint.
