Just buy it
I have been diving a long time and have used my share of computers. This is a force multiplier. No need for readers as I am 61 . It is bright and reliable. One piece of advice . If you add a second transmitter in your first stage for the sake of redundancy, it will cancel both at times for as much as 29 minutes. I was able to use my old transmitter from a previous computer. I know there are those that say you can’t , their information is inaccurate. It Bluetooths your dives to smart phone with ease and you see every detail of dive minute by minute water temp depth etc. I would own it just for the watch. My wife loves hers as well. I must add a caveat. I started to have trouble with lost transmitter after in activity. The solution is to take battery out for five minutes of transmitter, then reinsert .Check the transmitter number and you are good to go. My dream would be for Shearwater to get into the BCD business and then my dive ensemble would be complete. Truly a remarkable product

Easy to read - Easy menus - Features galore - Pricey but worth it!!!
Very easy to read, tons of features for recreational divers, Freedivers and even the most technical multi-tank divers. Easy four button intuitive menu operations and more options than you’ll ever need.I have very small wrists and it’s fine for me, not too ginormous. Shearwater just started supplying these with a durable laminate protective screen cover instead of the glass one which once chipped and cracked is messy. Just get the laminate one for $10 and never use the glass one is my advise.Got this to replace my 15 year old Uwatec AI and what an upgrade! Pricey but worth every penny.

It a great Dive Computer!
Well here is what ill tell you about the Shearwater teric I haven’t been able to find any bad features on this dive computer. The only slight annoyance was that strap but i solved that quickly by buying any 22mm strap that i liked more than the silicon strap.Pretty much everything on this computer is customizable, even your deco and how much info you want to see during your dive.It is equipped with sapphire crystal glass and an extremely bright amoled display that will light up a dark room if you dont have is on dim.Your battery depends of you usage i am a dive instructor i can dive once or twice a day sometimes more but i get a week of diving before i have to charge, but i dont keep the display on all day, only when i want to see the time and back off, and without diving i about two weeks and haven’t charged yet.Only thing it cant do is play games on your safety stops.I am loving this dive computer!

All in one dive computer with easy to read display
Only mild complaint is sometimes the abbreviations used are unknown. A glossary of them in the materials would help decode. Otherwise this is the best dove computer i have owned and the air integration makes it even better.

Bright, beautiful display!
This thing is easy to read, even for aging eyes like mine. I'm coming from an Atomic Cobalt 2, which also has a great, easy to read display, and the Teric is easier to read and better. Battery life is very decent and will go for a few days of 6-7 dives a day before I worry about charging it. As a watch, its just a watch, nothing like my Garmin Fenix 5X, but it's display is much better and brighter. My only gripe about it is that I wish it was more customizable. I'm primarily a recreational diver that will occasionally do some deep dives with planned deco stops. Using the Teric in Open Circuit Recreational mode, in places such as Bonaire where 90% of your dives you couldn't get below 115 feet if you tried, the is no way to customize the display to show your tank pressure in the large field at the bottom of the face. That is dive/bottom time, and you can't change it. The pressure is shown in one of the (or the only one in Big mode) customizable small information screens. In the manual it states "The top and bottom row contents are reserved for the most critical information and are fixed". How in the world do they consider Dive Time to be critical, let alone more critical than how much air you have when diving recreationally? I mean, over 1/3 of the display is showing me something that I honestly don't care about. Not even a little.Overall, this is a really great dive computer. Outstanding display. Small and rugged. Customer service was very quick to answer some questions I had. Hopefully they will remedy the Dive Time thing in a firmware update. If they do, I'll change this to a 5 star rating. Regardless, this dive computer is a game changer.

Great display and easy to use
I gave this dive computer 5 stars reluctantly, only because I haven't used it to dive with yet. After "playing" with it for 30 minutes however I can say it;s extremely easy to use and will be easy to read. I've had two other computers, one a console the other a watch style. This is a little larger than the watch style I had but no so much that it is an issue. I will diving with it in a month and if I remember I'll post an update. I hate doing a review that doesn't give you any information on what you are buying the item for. Especially one this expensive.

Great dive computer for beginners and experienced divers
Came with two screen protector. I've heard the transmitter is always disconnecting. I've done 30+ dives with it. Never disconnected. If I remove bcd and walk 3-5ft away it disconnects.

Outstanding dive computer 👌
This is the best wrist mounted computer I have seen to date. Very bright . The menu system is very easy to navigate and there are hints which appear in the four operating buttons as you step through . The air integration function is likewise very easy to set up and use.Altogether an outstanding dive computer I can highly recommend. Well worth the price of admission.
