RYOT SmellSafe Krypto-Kit Hard Shell Case

Do you want to transport uh..tobacco..yeah, ...tobacco, and a glass piece, lighter, and poker safely? Me too. Thats why I have 2 Ryot cases. A soft shell gray one purchased at a local Shop. And this one, purchased here. And that's why you're reading this review. My wife keeps the soft case in her purse, I keep this one in my cargo pockets. I can load a couple grams into the zipper pouch without much smashing. The piece holder is elastic, and great for something between a batty and a bowl. Chillum? Pinky size. Or use the lighter side for a pipe, and do something else with your lighter. Poker included. And there's slim pokets to keep a few alcohol pads, for antiseptic reasons... :) I bought this one, because I thought I lost the zipper pouch from the first, and that pouch is the sh1t. Being able to refill while out are wonderful things. * Found first pouch. Car rides much more fun now.

Quality and price are just right on this one. Overall the shell and inner pouch appear to be well made. It's a little snug but I can fit a lighter and small round bowl pipe on one side with the pouch on the other. It also has a sleeve for a one hitter if I'm not carrying the pipe.

the idea of this is great, and i do like the object. but i feel it's sort of poorly made.good - it is small and easy to use/carrybad - after just a few weeks of heavy use, the elastic is starting to come apart and i keep having to cut/burn little strings off as the stitching comes undone.verdict - when this one falls apart i'm going to get another similar object but a different brandUDPATE - after using this regularly for several months, i went back and gave it 4 instead of 3 stars. After i burned off the first few threads that unraveled, it has held together really well. At first I was really worried but I was wrong to worry. If it ends up lasting another several months I will come back and give it 5 instead of 4, but right now I think 4 is proper. it's solid, does its job, and has not failed me yet after some pretty significant usage. The construction could be better I suppose but for like $15 I'm good with it.

My V2 fits perfectly in this case. Its accessories go nicely into the removable pouch. The inside pocket has room for a charger and I fit a small rubber container for herbs in the center. Sealed zip closure and a nice tool included as well. I added a clip to the loop on back for attaching to a belt, pack, etc. I love this bag!

11/17/14 updateGreat idea but poor construction. I complained about the zipper being backwards but that is less of a problem now as the whole zipper has broken off. Not it doesn't close at all. Seems like a waste of my money...I really like this product. It does a good job of keeping smells in and everything organized . The only issue that I have with this is that the zipper seems to be backwards. Every time I open it up it id upside down. It works well other than that. I would recommend that they change the direction of the zipper but other than that it is perfect!

I purchased this for my snub-nose tobacco pipe. I wanted a hard case so to protect my pipe and loved that it is 'smell safe'...but it's not. I keep this in my book bag and I didn't want my book bag smelling like pipe tobacco, unfortunately this case is not very 'smell safe', fortunately the hard case does protect my pipe, so I got that going for me.If you want a case to mask and keep in the smell of your pipe, look elsewhere. If you want a small carrying case to protect a pipe and nothing more, then this is what you want.

It arrived today. I'm very impressed with the quality, as well as the look and feel of this little pipe case. It is well made, looks nice, and seems to be very durable. It is perfect for my needs.It is not for large, or ever regular sized pipes, but it works perfectly for my small, glass pipe. There are a couple side pockets for i.d. or credit cards, with room for a small bic, and the removable, zippered, smell proof pouch also holds enough herb for several bowls. Looks good, protects perfectly, and so far, no odors. I like it!============== UPDATE ==============I got a couple more small pipes, and decided to get cases for them. So, I ordered the same RYOT case that I wrote about above. These new RYOT cases are way to small for anything. Honestly, I have no idea what anyone would use these tiny cases for, except maybe a change purse. They are also not a hard case ... Sorry to see that a great product was destroyed by dishonest greed! ... Go to hell, RYOT!!!
