Chicago PopOut Map (Popout Maps) Map – Folded Map, January 7, 2018

I've used another of their maps, so for a tourist trip to Chicago I got this one. It has a lot of good schematic detail on the road/rail systems, it's easy to locate some of the tourist highlights, and I've found that their "popout" format is simply the best for getting comfortable/confident with the overview of where you are and where you want to go. Since they're small and compact (roughly 3.5 by 5 inches and an eight of an inch thick, folded up) I think they're easy to read, well organized, and at the price it can't hurt to try one to see how YOU feel about them -- I just wish there were more!

I discovered these maps 13 years ago and have acquired many cities over the years. They are extremely helpful, dense with information. I don't have a smart phone, but have used my maps to navigate by subway in Chicago, D.C., and NYC. They are small enough to fit in my back pocket. And for paper, they are durable enough that my 4 year old can play with them to "help" me navigate without them ripping.

The media could not be loaded. More than I expected! The detail is next level! Very detailed and easy to read and fold. Nice sturdy material

I know you can just use your phone these days, but what I loved about using this is that my kids could use it and get a perspective on where we were compared to where we wanted to go. It's the perfect size for tucking in your pocket and it folds up easily and quickly. A great tool for our Chicago trip.

The concept of this map is great and information on it would be helpful. Nevertheless, the print is way to tiny to read on the go. Need a magnifying glass. Bummer.

This is a great compact map. We went to Chicago for a short trip this summer and while I knew we would use google more than a paper map, I was glad to have it if the need arose. It was small enough to slip into my purse and I knew it was there if the internet wasn't working.
