Simpex 222 Tripod

I am a solo traveller, so taking pictures of me being in the frame is a tough task. So I bought this tripod to use it for mobile photography & got epic pictures. This one supports camera too but I used my Huawei P20 Pro mobile phone & shot some great pics. This is light weight hence easy to carry, comes in a smart zipper pouch bag, that is washable. Build quality is great & what I liked best was the hook to attach weight to make it extra sturdy, which was important for me as I took it to a desert which is both windy & the ground is sandy, so I needed extra stability at times & this tripod is really good for that.

For this price range, I expected a lightweight, Ok built tripod. But, it's built is actually better than that! Feels solid while using, isn't too heavy or light. The fluid head is working as smooth as it should and the gear extender is also nice. I'm trying, but really can't think of something that disappointed me. 🤷🏽

It is a very much good product, i love it, but some sturdiness is missing, but it is not a problem to me, if you are looking for a tripod, this will be a great choice.

I got it without damaged and also in well packed manner.this traipod has good apperance, good stability, good camera holder , price is also good, its also have 360degree rotation and very much stability , light weight.this is one of the best tripod i got. From Flipkart i ordered 2 traipod nd they were damaged then i see simpex 🤟 .

I had used a similar tripod few years back..that was very sturdy. This tripod has a lot of cost cutting, metal pieces are replaced with plastic. Have to use it very carefully otherwise there is chance of breakage. THE TABLE TOP FEATURE DOESN'T WORK AS EXPECTED.

I bought this specifically for the DSLR support. It works really well. The joints and the expansion are smooth as it should be. The material and the tripod-legs looks and feels strong. It should easily handle a DSLR and a telephoto lens. I do put pressure on tripod while taking shots , and this tripod holds up well. For this price range this is a good buy. An added bonus was the mobile holder. That is a real good surprise, which is definite must-have as nowadays mobiles are replacing DSLR for casual photography.

Asked for a replacement as it was very flimsy and shaking badly; replacement promised and done on paper. I am yet to receive it.

Liked the quality of material, comfort and price. Dislike- difficulty in filling air as no valve in inlrt, the moment u remove the air pump nozzle from its inlet, air tends to leak out fast by the time uamage to replace the stopper.
