Berkey Authentic Black Berkey Elements BB9-2 Filters for Berkey Water Systems (Set of 6 Black Berkey Elements)

We have been using Berkey Water Filters for years on our Farm. We even use them for our Livestock as the water is so bad. They advertise removing Viruses, Bacteria, and a long list of many other things which makes them Number 1 in our opinion. The only downside to Berkey is the terribly high Cost. We Highly Recommend Berkey Filters!

Arrived in good condition. Sort of pricey. I'm a prime customer; but, it took four days to receive items. Entered instructions that the shipment must be delivered to my door as we have porch pirates in the area; yet, discovered the package a quarter of a mile from the house dropped off at the farm's gate. Nothing on the package to indicate special instructions for the delivery; so, it was not the driver's fault. I may have entered the data poorly or something. I'll be extra careful next time and print everything. Either way...no harm no foul. We use several Berkey's and I have learned to be more vigilant about staying stocked. Best of luck to everyone as the nation changes and experiments with rebooting itself. As the Brits said in WWII, "Remain calm and carry on." After contracting the virus, Tom Hanks gently reminded us that " there is no crying in baseball!" That's a good message.

We just switched to the black purification elements. Our water is filled with iron and leaves an orange film on our tubs, showers, sinks, and sometimes dishes. The black purification elements are slightly smaller, but takes the place of the old ceramic elements. They are great and we just cleaned them for the first time since installing them. They had a small build-up of iron, but they are flowing fast and great again!

Purchased a Travel Berkey that was supposed to make 1.5 gallons of water and in truth it only makes 1 gallon. Upon drinking the water my throat began stinging, but I continued giving the Berkey filtered water a fair trial. After a month of drinking this water and my throat getting more irritated I have developed double pneumonia presumably from whatever is in this water. I used tap water to begin with before filtering and the tap water does not burn my throat. Stopped drinking the water and my throat got better. Began drinking the water again and the throat issues resumed. Have called Berkey many times only to be told I would be called back and nobody calls me back. Absolutely no customer service with this company. Do not buy this product.

At the Berkey site a set of 2 if these black filters are $128 but THEY have a sale now for $120 for a set of 2.So 3 sets of 2 would be $360 on sale OR $384 at the REGULAR price.I checked this September 19th 2019 at 8pm Pacific Time.I'm not sure but if you purchase through Amazon I don't think it has the same warranty but you would have to call Berkey to confirm that.I personally think that the cost of filters are exponential. Unfortunately I do not have any idea on where to get filters that would do the same thing and fit the Berkey system. I have a Berkey travel since I am alone and have 3 small dog that also drink purified water.

I own the Berkey Light, it is an excellent filter, but this particular seller must have absolutely no idea how to price these. The price is double all other offers.
