This is Egyptian Musk almost smells like the one I wore back in the late 70's/early 80's. It's a light clean smell. It's not a long wearing fragrance but that doesn't mean someone else can't smell it on you even when you can't smell it yourself after a period of time. (Hope this makes sense). Now let me say this particular order wasn't a pleasant one. What I received was a bottle of EM that had a musty, medicinal smell. I knew this wasn't right because I bought from this seller before from another site. Just as I was getting ready to return it, the seller contacted me to inquire if I was happy with my purchase. I explained my unhappiness about this purchase. The seller sent me a new bottle which I received in less than a week. Smells wonderful!!!Great customer service and I will always continue to buy from them.

i first started wearing Egyptian musk in '90 and was all i would wear until the essential oil stores started closing down in Tucson, AZ, around 2008 or so. this particular store that closed did, and still does, continue to sell their product online but about 2010 they decided to mess with their formula. what once was a thick golden color and the smell would last all day, was no more. i refused to pay their outrageous prices for something that would last two hours.i've tried kumba and other products but they just didn't have the true Egyptian musk smell i fell in love with.i then started using another clean smelling product and still continue to use it but i really wanted the Egyptian musk smell back. I saw the reviews and the number of people who reviewed Wags and decided to give it a shot.i am so glad i gave it a shot because this really is the closest to what i originally fell in love with.i wasn't sure at first if the smell lasted, but my friend called me a couple days after being at her house to let me know her puppy still smells like me....lolthe first purchase i made was the .33 oz roll on but moved on up to the 1 oz roll on which gives me just the right amount.Happy, Happy Happy

Smells amazing just what I expected. Some did spill in shipping but that’s to be expected the bottle was full to the top.2/15/2018 UPDATEOk so I have been using it for a week. And sad to say I’m disappointed. While the smell is great it doesn’t last long at all. Which has me having to reapply so now I’m down to half a bottle. I purchased the second largest size. Which I could give a better update honestly because I was tired of trying new ones but the search continues.

This is EXCELLENT quality authentic, thick, rich, hone-like, and perfectly-scented Egyptian Musk oil. It is SO frustrating to see negative reviews from people who DO NOT know what they are talking about regarding Egyptian Musk! I have been wearing Egyptian Musk CONSISTENTLY since the 1970's and have tried literally dozens. Wags Market's EMO is the REAL DEAL. There are SO many knock-offs and bad attempts (and even MORE unfortunate misinformation about) this lovely, classic, light, wears-close-the-the body oil. It SHOULD be THICK and almost difficult to pour (remedy that by putting the closed vial in your cleavage or pocket for a few minutes before applying - it makes the scent more perceptible too). It SHOULD be light and have a wears-close-to-the-body type "aura" and NOT a "throw. Just because YOU cannot smell it or detect it on yourself at ANY point does NOT mean it is weak or poor quality. By it's very nature, EM is undetectable to some who are anosmic to certain molecules (check out this link: https://sonomascent.wordpress.com/2008/05/22/musks-and-anosmia/). If you CAN smell it, consider yourself blessed, but if you CAN'T - don't blame this lovely oil! This stuff has AMAZING lasting power (24 hours PLUS), is TRUE to the ORIGINAL EM scent, and is SPOT ON in ALL categories that make Egyptian Musk...EGYPTIAN MUSK! PLUS the sellers are amazing and it is affordable. Before you give a negative review, PLEASE at least have the sense to KNOW what you are reviewing! This company and it's EM deserve 10 stars. It is GORGEOUS and NEVER fails to elicit compliments. LOVE it. <3

Price is right. Smell is amazing but day 3 I noticed it does not have the strength it had from opening.From the past I've known many candle makers have topped their candles with scented oil but once you burn the top layer the scent disappears..Not sure if this could be done in a oil mixture but I do see a slight difference in oil that rest on top layer.So naturally I kept moving it to mix it up so I could see if it needed that to get the scent of musk.Instead I get a very slight scent but can smell almost a alcohol scent that you find in cheaper perfumes or when it's expired.It still is a decent scent but definitely not like when I 1st put it on..I saw many reviews and that's why I picked this one to buy.If your cutting corners to make more profit, I'd suggest you stick with what you've been doing when you got all 5 stars.People will notice.Now if it's because the batch was made different and not always the same, I'd suggest you work on that too so that you can be the best..For now I'll go do some more research to find one that smells amazing

I am very familiar with what Egyptian musk smells like and I just don't feel that this smells quite like true Egyptian musk. However, I will still keep it. It just smells a little off of Egyptian musk not quite Egyptian musk. I have Egyptian musk here so I do know the smell. Egyptian musk i have has been sitting a long time so maybe it just smells different but yes this smell is not quite Egyptian musk in my honest opinion.
